Let's do the normal process. This goes by current record, not predicted finish. The tiebreaker is point differential. All records are current as to Week 11.
1. Miami Dolphins-Glenn Dorsey/DT/LSU: The Dolphins have so many problems, not one player can make a big enough difference. Dorsey is the best player in this draft. His explosiveness off of the line puts him in the backfield almost instantly, and his tackling ability is phenominal.
2. New England Patriots (From San Francisco)-Chris Long/DE/Virginia: Right now, the Patriots are the best team in the NFL, and they have a top 2 draft pick. That's just not fair. Some people think they should take Darren McFadden. I think that the offense doesn't need any help. Chris Long is a dynamic lineman who could play defensive end or nose tackle in the 3-4.
3. St. Louis Rams-Jake Long/OT/Michigan: There is no way that the Rams would pass up on Long. Most of the offensive linemen that have gone high in the draft recently have done very well. D'Brickishaw Ferguson, Joe Thomas, and Levi Brown have been great. Long is more talented than all of these guys. The Rams might as well replace future Hall of Famer Orlando Pace.
4. New York Jets-Calais Campbell/DE/Miami (Fla.): The Jets have a terrible defensive line. It will be hard to fix. Campbell is the best defensive end left on the board right now. The Jets hope that the transition from the 4-3 to the 3-4 is seamless, because they need the help.
5. Oakland Raiders-DeSean Jackson/WR/Cal: The Raiders offense revolves around speed. Jackson is probably the fastest player in this draft. There is no way Al Davis can screw up three drafts in a row. Can he? He passed on Jay Cutler in 2006. He took JaMarcus Russell instead of Adrian Peterson, Joe Thomas, and Calvin Johnson. He needs to make up for it by taking the player who fits best in their system.
6. Atlanta Falcons-Brian Brohm/QB/Louisville: This is sounding like a broken record. Every mock draft I've done I've said Brohm is not the best QB, but he already knows the system because of Bobby Petrino. I think we all know why this is an obvious pick.
7. Cincinnati Bengals-James Laurinaitis/MLB/Ohio State: The Bengals are playing players at linebacker who haven't played linebacker in his life (Chinedum Ndukwe anyone?). They need to draft a bunch of linebackers so this doesn't happen again.
8. Carolina Panthers-Dan Conner/OLB/Penn State: The Panthers defense needs a total revamping. It's what got them to a Super Bowl a few years ago, but now it's holding them back. Conner is a great runstopper, and the linebackers would finally be fixed.
9. Baltimore Ravens-Malcolm Jenkins/CB/Ohio State: Malcolm Jenkins is a great cover corner. His tackling ability is already much better than the ancient pair of Chris McAllister and Samari Rolle. Jenkins is a perfect replacement.
10. Kansas City Chiefs-Ryan Clady/OT/Boise State: Ryan Clady is an absolute beast. His size is the best out of all of the offensive linemen, and he has been making great holes for Ian Johnson. The Chiefs may want to fix their bad o-line so their backs can stay healthy.
11. New Orleans Saints-Aqib Talib/CB/Kansas: Tailb is leading the undefeated Kansas defense with his unbelievably good athleticism. The Saints are giving up passing touchdowns left and right. At the pace their playing at, Malcolm Jenkins might be available. They are one of the worst teams in the NFL right now.
12. Chicago Bears-Matt Ryan/QB/Boston College: I don't like him. I don't think he is very good. I think he has been insanely overrated all season long. However, he fits in perfectly with the Bears. They won't pass up on him.
13. Minnesota Vikings-Andre Woodson/QB/Kentucky: Woodson is the best QB in the draft, but he doesn't fit into any of these systems. Chicago doesn't like to go deep. Brohm fits in too well for Atlanta. The Vikings are perfect. His arm is better than JaMarcus Russell's, and he is more accurate.
14. Denver Broncos-Vernon Gholston/DE/Ohio State: Gholston had an amazing game against Michigan. That game alone put him into the top 15. Hopefully, he can be consistent in the pros. He won't have much talent around him on the Bronco's O-line.
15. Buffalo Bills-Sedrick Ellis/DT/USC: Ellis and Gholston are about equal on this board. They both are perfect for both teams. The Bills just pulled the short straw by getting the 15th pick instead of the 14th.
16. Washington Redskins-Derrick Harvey/DE/Florida: He has fallen a bit, but not as far as Kenny Phillips and Darren McFadden, who I will be getting to soon. The Redskins need some athleticism in their front seven.
17. Houston Texans-Darren McFadden/RB/Arkansas: I can't see a team that really needs McFadden. Teams need to worry about getting good linemen and secondary players. Oakland and the Jets are the only teams that should consider taking him.
18. Arizona Cardinals-Quentin Groves/DE/Auburn: Groves is a perfect fit for the 3-4, which the Cardinals are transitioning to.
19. Philadelphia Eagles-Michael Oher/OT/Ole Miss: Oher is an absolute giant. His strength is unmatched in this draft class. The Eagles won't have to worry about Umenyiora with Oher blocking.
20. San Diego Chargers-Kenny Phillips/S/Miami (Fla.): Phillips has fallen far, and the Chargers would have a major steal here. The Chargers could use a good tackler in their secondary. Phillips is a lot like Bob Sanders.
21. Dallas Cowboys (From Cleveland)-Early Doucet/WR/LSU: The LSU offense has been better than expected. They lost their QB and top two WRs, but Doucet has stepped up greatly.
22. Detroit Lions-Mike Jenkins/CB/South Florida: Mike Jenkins is a hard-hitting corner. The Lions need some strength in their mediocre secondary.
23. Tennessee Titans-DeJuan Tribble/CB/Boston College: Tribble has had some great performances in big games. He had three interceptions against Wake Forest to open the season. Pacman, Griffin, and Tribble makes an amazing secondary.
24. Tampa Buy Buccaneers-Jonathan Stewart/RB/Oregon: Stewart has great running vision which complements his great speed. Cadillac's future is uncertain, so Stewart is agood security blanket for now.
25. Seattle Seahawks-Steve Slaton/RB/West Virginia: Shaun Alexander is getting up there in age. Slaton is a perfect replacement for Alexander. His speed is crazy, and he would do great behind the talented Seattle offensive line.
26. Pittsburgh Steelers-James Hardy/WR/Indiana: Hardy has been flying under the radar for some reason. Maybe it's because he plays in a run first offense. Maybe it's because he plays at a basketball school, but Hardy has it all. Speed, height, hands. He can do it all.
27. Jacksonville Jaguars-Malcolm Kelly/WR/Oklahoma: Dennis Northcutt is their number one receiver. That's embarrassing. Maybe they can beat the Colts if they had some wide receivers. Or else they can just complain like they always do.
28. New York Giants-Mario Manningham/WR/Michigan: Manningham is a great deep threat. The Giants may need some secondary help, but that is available in later rounds. Manningham's talent will not be seen in the second round.
29. San Francisco 49ers (From Indianapolis)-Dwight Lowery/CB/San Jose State: Lowery is a big time player who can also return punts. His hands make him a first rounder in this cornerback-heavy draft.
30. Green Bay Packers-Antoine Cason/CB/Arizona: The Packers have really old corners. A good cornerback is essential for the Pack.
31. Dallas Cowboys-Frank Okam/DT/Texas: Okam would be the perfect transition to the 3-4. He is an amazing nose tackle.
32. New England Patriots-Forefeited

Wow...you really have Phillips falling far! And believe me, if Malcolm Kelly is anywhere around the Bills, they will take him.

I was thinking Kelly, but they need to get pressure on the QB. Brady had all the time in the world last night.

something tells me that antoine cason isn't going tolast that long, and mcfadden isn't either... he's the best player in the draft, regardless of need... i can not see him leaving the top five... someone will trade for him if nothing else...

haha they did take the pats pick away...that one is from the trade last year that sent the pats' first rounder in 07 to the niners for their first rounder in 08. Really backfired on the Niners, didnt it?
anyway, I cant see the pack taking a CB with the way their corners are playing right now. Sure, Harris and Woodson are getting a little old, but they still have at least 3-4 years left in them. What they really need is a RB.

I don't know. Ryan Grant seems to fit in well with the system. I think he could be good enough for a few more years.

Sooooooooooo ........................ Seattle has 2 RB's and 3 FB's waiting behind Alexander and you think they should draft another one ?
Seattle needs desperate help on the defense at the corners. Trufants not as bad as some, but he still sucks. He gives WR's way to much space at the line. And Kelly Jennings is just plain bad...he was put in the #1 CB pos on the other side to cover Terry Glen when they played Dallas in the playoffs. Both get burned at LEAST once or twice every game deep.
