Just heard over the wire that one of the better players in the NFL is no longer with us..., Sean Taylor was shot in his apartment..., he was only 24. And as I read the article a few minutes ago..., it got me to thinking? Life is short..., you never know what's going to happen two minutes from now. It's sad, being a fan of the Redskins and watching a lot of their games that, something like this would happen..., Taylor was a great player on a good team and he will be sadly missed. According to the article, he was shot in the upper leg by an intruder and..., died early this morning. But the one thing that really hit me..., he had a one year old girl. I don't know how I'd feel if I left a child behind in this mad, sometimes crazy world but I'll tell you one thing..., I'd do anything I could to protect my kid, no matter what happened to me. So..., just in case some of you don't know or haven't read about it yet..., Sean Taylor of the Redskins is gone. May he rest in peace..., along with all those others who have left this world too soon. #21.
