How about "Shake down the trees?"

My goodness, the Michigan fans are coming out of the woodwork! And no, I'm not just a bitter Gator fan. Well, .....maybe just a little. But the lovefest taking place over Lloyd Carr and how overrated Florida was and how every fan of Big Blue "called this game" weeks ago and how Mike Hart would rather have played in the Capital One Bowl than the Rose Bowl (I'm ill'in) . Weren't you guys just running him out of town a half an hour ago? Kind of makes me feel sorry for Coach Rodriguez (not really). So go ahead, all you UM fans, let me have it. I know, I'm just trying to rain on your parade. (any Buckeyes out there wanna get my back here?)

i was torn--when i was a kid, i liked both Florida and U-Mich. i don't have a fav. college football tame--that could be my next blog--convince me to like your team best. my defacto team is kinda Wisconsin since a good friend goes there but w/o the God that is John Stocco, i just lost interest.

I caddied for Jerry Kelly once (big time Badger) and he threw his Badger headcover at me in front of the whole gallery. Had a good laugh at my expense! lol

My favorite Wisconsin quarterback is Brooks Bollinger..then maybe Mike Samuels then for sure John Stocco...but to aswer you question RU people are just fair weather fans like that.

Michigan fans haven't had much to be happy about the last few years. I guess they have to take what they can get, since the can't win when it counts. I for 1 wil be glad to see Carr go. I"m not a Michigan fan, and if he can't beat Ohio State, what good is he?

The God John Stocco. Thats a good one.

January 2, 2008  09:11 PM ET

John Stocco, from St. Paul, Minn., or, approximately six miles from former Gophers coach Glen Mason's desk.

Nah, we don't want the local kid. We want Bryan Cupito...thanks Coach Mason! You rock!

Michigan and Ohio State have been running the Big "11" for a while now... if they can't have their slot in the Rose Bowl, they have to enjoy it somehow... I don't think either team will sink to the depths of the conference, as is the case with Illinois (occasionally) or Northwestern (frequently). But props still have to go to the Buckeyes for going to Ann Arbor this year and laying the smack down ;-)

I'm glad Michigan sent Carr out on a positive note, just sad that he got blasted (a bit too harshly, I think) for not being able to beat the Buckeyes year-in, year-out)...
