Attention FanNation! Bring Back The Dude!

This morning I received mail from Dudeman saying he was about to be deleted by the moderators for bad language.

If some of you dont know who Dude is, he writes the very popular "As FanNation Turns" soap opera that has featured many of us FanNation members at one time or another.  Dudeman was and is a very valuable member of this site, and yes sometimes he can get out of line with his mouth just like any kid brother would, and alot of us would put him in his place and he would learn from that..until the next time, that is.

So I am calling to arms all of my fellow FanNation members in helping me to bring back The Dude.  Hopefully the Moderators will take pity on Dude and let him come back.  Please sign below if you believe The Dude deserves another chance. Thank you from myself and The Dude (pictured below)

 Today is April 1st and....

AFC Championship Game..And Other Stuff.

I never would have predicted after watching The San Diego Chargers in week 2 getting beat down by The New England Patriots by a score of 38-14, that they would be facing each other in the AFC Championship game, but here we are.  Here is a picture of a couple of the Chargers right after that momentous game in week 2.

The Chargers have earned the right to face the 17-0 New England Patriots by winning their past eight games, even if some say that those wins came against far inferior teams like Denver, Oakland and Detroit. A win is a win is a win, and they beat the Colts to earn that right.  An interesting twist to this matchup is Junior Seau facing his old team for the right to go to the Superbowl.  There is also alot of bad blood between these two teams, since it was New England who knocked San Diego out of the playoffs last season, not to mention did it in the Chargers own house. L.T didnt help matters by badmouthing the Pats after the game. Stay classy, LT.

Early weather forecasts for this game are temps in the mid teens with flurries possible. Bring your snow shoes, San Diego.

I would also like to thank Jacksonville for a great game this past week, and I believe they will win their division next season. Sorry about the picture, it had to be done.

The 2007 New England Patriots..The Year In Pictures.

Before the season even began for the 2007 Patriots, word came out that they had signed Randy Moss. Everyone said he was done, too slow, a troublemaker, not a team player.

Here is Randy then:

Here is Randy now:

We also signed this guy.

Thanks Miami.

As the season began, the Spygate story broke, and Big Vince took it personal.

He almost made it to the endzone too. Here he is after the game.

After the spygate story broke, Bill announced the 2007 tour schedule, and gave us all a sneak peek.

In the next few weeks, people started saying the Patriots were running up the score. Here was Bill's reaction.

Here was the other team's reaction.

And here we have the Patriots team reaction.

After much anticipation, the Patriots went to play the Colts, and the game went something like this.

Peyton didnt seem pleased with the outcome.

Finally we arrived at the end of the season, and here's a sneak peek into the future.

Last but not least, I have some bad news for a dear friend of mine.

I'm sorry to have to tell you that your cat has been secretly dating my dachsund Lil Wes, and here is the photographic evidence.

Thanks to Oso for the gorilla pic, and I hope you guys enjoyed the season as much as I did..;)

Club Night Owl!

I am pleased to announce the Grand Opening of

Club Night Owl!  (It actually opened a few days

ago but whateva) Hours of operation: 10pm to

daybreak

Requirements- A sense of humor and an aversion to

daylight.

**Disclaimer**

Due to the mature content of Club Night Owl, all uptight people are discouraged at the door.

Guarantee this!

The New England Patriots convincingly put the smack down on the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 34-13. Tom Brady had 399 passing yards and 4 touchdown passes, and 3 of those came at the expense of free safety Anthony Smith. Willie Parker broke off a few good runs but ultimately was stopped from scoring.  There were a few altercations during this game, and I cant wait to hear what Tom has to say about the words spoken between him and Smith.

This latest win also gave the Patriots a first round bye in the playoffs. If they win next week, or the Colts lose, they secure homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
