The two clubs are level on points going into the final day of the season with Grant's Chelsea closing the gap in the last month but trailing on goal difference.

United's freescoring style has given them the edge despite Grant targeting more attractive football since taking over from Jose Mourinho.

LIbertadores Cup - Round of 16 Review

Well, with the Round-of-16 in the books we're looking at some interesting matchups.

But first let's recap this week's games.

Fluminense 1 x 0 Atl. Nacional - Fluminense had earned a solid victory away (2-1) and played with ease and tranquility, Atl. Nacional did not have enough to overcome that deficit. My Prediction was right!!

David Beckham shows up

Beckham

Beckham celebrates after putting the ball in the back of the net

It finally happened! David Beckham has finally produced for the LA Galaxy in a game that will silence the critics for at least a few days.

Beckham scored twice, one off his legendary free kicks, and another of a long range effort from outside the penalty area to secure a 2-2 draw for the Galaxy against Real Salt Lake.

In front of a record setting crowd in Utah, Beckham shot two lasers into the back of the net and singlehandedly kept the Galaxy in the game.

Messi: An appreciation

Lionel Messi was the best thing about Barcelona this afternoon (it was afternoon in my part of the world). Every time he touched the ball, he put the Man Utd defender to the sword. The only thing that prevented him from scoring a goal was the fact that the central defenders were there to protect the wing defender. Well, that and Edwin van der Sar is 6'5" tall. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. van der Sar, for having such a tall son. I, for one, am deeply grateful for your genes.
