It all comes down to this...

Friday Night|8pm|Quicken Loans Arena

It all comes down to this. The Cavaliers are playing tonight to extend their season, and move on to face The D-Town Spark plugs.

Boston has been playing strong down the stretch, and I for one, fill a little sick. The Cavs had a commanding performance in the first half of Game 5. D looked great, LBJ starting playing like he remembered he was allowed to put the orange thing through the circle that's 10 ft. off the ground, we were drilling outside shots, life was good. Then the wheels came off. Cleveland panicked. The C's went on a run, and the Cav's tried to push themselves to quite the home team. It was almost like if they weren't winning by 10+, then they didn't feel like they were up at all. Started making stupid outside shots, passing the ball around like no one wanted to shoot at all, and getting shot clock violations. It was partial the Celtics playing well, and the Cavs just freaked out.

Cavalier Fans...Be Cool.

I'm getting increasing sick of my own Cavalier fans attitudes lately. First, I had to put up with people crying and bitching about LeBron getting 'hard fouls' and 'robbed' under the basket. It's the NBA playoffs against a rival team that we have taken out of the playoffs twice, lots of smack talk, close 'dagger in the heart' wins, they aren't going to let him walk in and showboat. Z, Joe Smith, Side Show Bob, and Big Ben need to patrol the lane and make sure LBJ isn't getting in vulnerable positions.

Being a True Fan is painful...

I love all my teams, I love every heart wrenching defeat and every beer soaked win. The fans that I share my passion with have been my brethren through every edge of the chair moment that I've experienced. No matter what ills have come through my life, sports and rooting for my team has always been something that I can count on. I know that I can find any watering hole and lament with like minded people. Maybe share laugh, a complaint, or watch history. This is not just an "Cleveland Sports Fan" experience. Every fan, in every city can appreciate this. We take our teams serious, they are like a close friend that we've known all our lives. I have all my friends around me, they are all doing well. ALSC, NBA Finals, Four Championship Appearances in two years. I know that NONE HAVE WON, so save it...I said my friends are doing well, not great.
