Confucius say

Mark Teixera... Future HOFer?

I was watching the Angel game last night, and they were talking about Teixera after he smashed one that left a dent into the right field wall.  Then I heard them say "Mark Teixera WILL be a Hall of Famer"  with an emphasis on will.  My first reaction was "What!".  Then I looked into it.

Through 5 seasons his Numbers are-

HR-191

RBI- 639

AVG- .286

That is through 6 seasons.  His season averages are

Don't know when but these are 15 players who will win an Mvp before their career is over

1. Hanley Ramirez- Marlins

2. Josh Hamilton- Rangers

3. Mark Teixera- Angels

4. Evan Longoria- Rays

5.Miguel Cabrera- Tigers

6. Ian Kinsler- Rangers

7. Nick Markakis- Orioles

8. Adrian Gonzalez- Padres

9. Ryan Braun- Brewers

Kotchman best defensive 1st baseman?

Yes, he is!  All of you espn brainwashed people will disagree and say Youklis.  Youklis is great, but I take Kotchman over him any day.

First off I hate fielding stats with a passion, they just don't show how good someone is in the field.  And Kotchman has good fielding stats so I'm not trying to make an excuse.  But fielding stats don't show it when Kotchman saves a run with a diving catch or when he makes a nice pick on a bad throw.  I think Kotchman takes the cake when it comes to pickoff throws and holding runners on.

The Chargers can and will beat the Pats

The defense can match up with the Pats.  Look at Brady's stats in the AFC championship

Brady

Comp/att- 22-33

yards- 209

touchdowns-2

Interceptions-3

yards/comp- 6.4

Not his brightest hour, that was the second worst game of the season and the worst up to that point.  Brady was sacked 2 times but was pressured almost every time he dropped back to pass, they were the first team to pressure him consistently and effectively.
