You Know What Really Grinds My Gears - Washed Up QBs Edition

Welcome to Entry #2 to You Know What Really Grinds My Gears (YKWRGMG).

You know what really grinds my gears?

#1.  The "washed up" tag line.  Vinny T, Drew Bledsoe, and for the last few years, including this year, Brett Favre.  4 +300 yard games...10 wins out of 11 going back to last year, recordholder of the most TD thrown by a QB.

Sal Palantonio called Favre "the 2nd most overrated QB in the NFL" (I assume pertaining to this year).  For the last week Favre's endured questions of whether he can still throw it deep.  Again, #4 let his performance speak for himself.  There is no doubt that despite a player's age, they are still fully capable of managing and running an efficient & effective team to success.

You Know What Really Grinds My Gears (Introductory Edition)

Welcome to the introductory edition of my blog which will be entitled "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?".  This blog will focus on issues that really grind my gears and will center mostly on professional football related topics (though all sports will be fair game).

In my 1st blog posting of YKWRGMG I will focus on 3 things that are really grinding my gears that will be emphasized in a nicely bulleted list below:

 -  Commercials, specifically Visa/Mastercard/Reggie Bush commercials.  Alright Visa/Mastercard (whichever one of you is doing this commercial).  We get it, our lives are being utterly ruined by the guy whose paying in cash instead of swiping or waving our card in front of the card reader.  But can you really stop with the New Orleans Saints commercial in particular.  I realize The Aints were last year's hotness but after 5 weeks and them being 0-4, you may want to consider going back to the mall food court ones.  As for you Reggie, please....Jared Fogle, are you serious?  Add to that recent health studies are finding those that eat at Subway will usually go w/ the chips & beverage combo which is more unhealthy than those that would go to McDonalds and just get a Big Mac.
