Trade Help

I am solid without Billingsley, I have Johnny Cueto ready to back him up. My relieving pitchers will be Ryan Dempster and Francisco Cordeo but I need a 1B. I have Albert Pujols but I will need a backup if Pujols starts hurting again.

CHad Cordero I believe is injured I think it will take a little more to get Teixiera

Cordero has got worse for multiple years. I do not know who loves that guy around here (DC area). Teixeira will give you HR which means RBI and R as well. Billingsley is not even that great. Worth it!

If you can get Tex for that, what are you sitting here talking about it for..... DO IT! I don't see how anyone on Gods green earth would take that trade, since Billingsley has nowhere to go but down right now, and Tex will burn it up after the break

Why do a two for one? Who is your pickup off waivers going to be? Because that's essentially the second player in this deal that you get. Two for ones generally suck.

Well you can't expect to have an equal backup for the best hitter in the game. Presumably, if you lose your best player, you probably lose the pool. Regardless, this is a deal that has to be made.

Yes but I would ask them to add a mediocre pitcher in and you can always play texiera at third

Good trade for you, bad for the idiot that accepts that offer though. If you have Puljos on your roster right now though I would keep Teixeira and spin Puljos off some more offence at another postion or to replenish the pitching staff you gave up to get Teixeira.
