I am so tired of all the negative talk about Mikey. Could we just give the guy a break and let him see what he can do to get it together. Rome wasn't built in a day and he DOES have a ton on his plate. Did ya ever think that a speck of encouragement might do some good. Mikey did not even make the All Star race this year.....just another slap in the face for him...I feel so bad for him.....it has got to turn around......darnit

everything is falling apart for Mikey, personally and financially. The scariest thing is that NAPA's contract with him expires the end of this year.....nothing in the rumour mill so far, but that is nother hurdle for him. I hope Mikey can get his grip back and turn things around.

I guess he was playing a little "push that car up the track" and got a "Time Out" in the corner of the Oval Office and lost 60 Driver Points. He said he felt like a 12 year old !!! He's human and gets frustrated just like the rest of us. How refreshing !!!
Man, did Mikey loose it sat. night.. i'm not sure what has gotten into him but he needs to take medication for it!! LOL I wonder how much trouble he is going to get into for trying to run over Mears!!!!!
Mikey had a pretty good race at Dega.. He ran up front for awhile and looked pretty competitive!!!
Spring Break starts on friday,ill try to post a blog every day or at least 3 in the next week

I can't see Mikey being dumb enough to let his employees do this but you are right--it seems like it was MWR.. Think he would have been better off when he found out they had the part just to throw it away and never say anything!!

This week has been a weird one for me, which means my computer time is messed up!! I babysit for my neice who has an almost 3 year old and she is a teacher so "we" are on spring break!!!!
it stinks that theres no racing this weekend,anyway i cant wait till next season when the COT will be used in the busch series

I'm GREEN with envy, listening to all the talk about visiting race shops. I want to go to MWR so bad but don't know if I'll ever be able to make the trip since I can't fly anymore do to a bad heart. Oh well, I guess that's life! Thanks for sharing your experiences with me!!!

the racing hall of fame was the best place.I bought a Danny Hamlin raceused tire for five bucks and they had a good video,plus lots of old racecars
roush and hendrick were good but not the best,
DEI was off the beatin path and a waste of time
RCR was amazing,they let you tour there old shop and showed how they used to make them,pretty cool to see how they made all Dales championship winning cars in at most 3 pretty small rooms
I wish i could have seen Gibbs and Petty's shops but i havent seen those yet,but i guess ive seen a lot in the last 6 months

waltrip racing has the best shop,u gett to see them makig there crs,and get to watch pit practice,its byfar a must if u go to nc
Have been an Earnhard fan forever and liked Mikey when he drove for DEI. Didn't cheer for him last year because of driving Toyotas but am over that this year and wish him all the luck this year!!!! Have always liked him and his personality.
