BIG TEN to look at Expansion again?

Big Ten Commisioner Jim Delany told a group of Des Moines Register reports that expansion is something the conference will have to look into in the coming year.  From the Des Moines Register:

"I think we need to look at it in the next year."

Adding a 12th team likely will be revisited because of the network, which is scheduled to launch Aug. 30, Delany said. An additional big-name university in a large television market means more exposure for the network and its sponsors.

The Detriot Free Press has a nice breakdown of what Michigan State and their new Head Coach, Mark Dantonio is up against and it's not pretty.  MSU is coming off of a 4-8 season and they get to face the likes of Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan and Penn State.
