Now Hiring

Hello, FanNation. Sometime ago, Keeper named me the administrator for The Southeastern Conference group. The problem is that I really do not have the time to be an administrator of a group. I'm already the admin. for the St. John's Fan Group, and thanks to my laziness that group has become completely inactive. I do not want the same thing to happen to this group.

So, what I propose is that anyone who is interested in becoming the administrator to The Southeastern Conference Group, respond in the comment section in this blog. I will then check out your profiles and determine which one of you should be the administrator. I want to remain part of the group, but I'm not interested in blogging for it. I will just be a regular member.

In Need of Bloggers

Hi, it's Keeper and I have something that has to be done to bring this group back to life.  I would like one person that absolutely loves their SEC team to come on here and give us an update of how things are going.  If you are interested, then join the group and tell me in the comments and you will be your team's correspondent.  Please remember that I'm looking for a good quality blog, so if you can't write one don't sign up.  Thanks for your time.

SEC New Year's Day Bowls Review

Heading into yesterday's games, the SEC was a combined 3-0 after wins by Mississippi State, Alabama, Kentucky, and Auburn over Central Florida, Colorado, Florida State, and Clemson respectively.  Coming into the day, I thought we do very well, but we came very close to going under .500.  For the day.

The first game of the day feature the Tennessee Volunteers and the Wisconsin Badgers.  This game lived up to the hype and was very exciting.  It came down to the end as Wisconsin was driving and Tennessee intercepted a pass.  Tennessee, led by senior quarterback Erik Ainge, who threw for 365 yards lead Tennessee to their first 10-win season since 2004.  The final score was Tennessee 21, Wisconsin 17.

I agree, the home of the two best teams in this great country are right here in the SEC. They are the LSU Bayou Bengals and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Is there ANYONE in the country that does not agree that the SEC is by far, the best conference in the country?

An SEC team has once again "spanked" the best team in the Big Ten... and I mean SPANKED.

Combined, the SEC went 7-2 vs the rest of the country... Truth be known, the SEC has the best two teams in the nation.

USC may want to make an arguement, but if they played week after week in the SEC, they would be just another SEC caliber opponent.

Congrats LSU... Congrats Georgia and Congrats Southeastern Conference.
