The last home match is tomorrow
Tomorrow night, the Timbers host Charleston for their last home match of the regular season. I'm trying to see if I can scrounge up a ticket. In the meanwhile, the Timebers are in a dogfight for first place in their league, with the scheulde working against them, so they HAVE to win this match for a decent shot.
Now, if this were any other nation, the TImbers would be battling for pormotion to theit nation's premiership (in our calse, MLS) but American sports don't work that way. So we'll have to settle for a playoff for the championship of Division 2 (or whatever this league is called).
