Starter Named

Haven't blogged here in a while..and I felt the need to do one.  So, I want to talk a little about the Wisconsin Badgers.  Anyways..what I want to talk about is a not so surprising development...Allen Evridge was named the starter by Bret Bielema.

Why wasn't this move surprising?  Well, Evridge is a guy that Bielema really likes starting with his time in Kansas State when Coach B was also the defensive coordinator there.  Anyways last year I strongly believed that Evridge should have been named the starter last year over Tyler Donovan.  I never was a big fan of Tyler..I felt like he held on to the ball too long..which was a lot of the reasons for the sacks a year ago..again just my opinion.  Take it for what it's worth..with me being a Badger fan and all.

College Football Predictions Teaser

I have been working on the unthinkable, the unprecedented.  I am going to predict every single game of every single team of every single conference in the next nine days.  I have already finished the ACC and will post them all together when I am finished.  You're probably thinking, well it can't be that bad, you have nine days.  Not so fast...there are 119 teams and I have 9 days.  That's over 13 teams per day.  Each team has 12 games.  And although it may not seem so, I have a life and a schedule.  I have three yards to take care of, I have friends coming over Saturday, going to grandparents for lunch on Sunday, high school football jamboree on Friday, family friends on Friday, workout on Friday and Monday, and who knows what else will come up.  Therefore, to accomplish my goal, I must work into the wee hours of the morning, but it will be worth it.  Collegefootballnews.com predicts everyone's schedule but they take the whole summer and they still haven't finished with the predictions.  I'm not just looking at USC at Virginia and chalking up a W for USC.  No, I'm looking up both teams, their strengths and weaknesses, how good they are at home and on the road, and everything else.  Why am I doing this?  For me because I'm bored and for you, the college football fan.  You need something to look forward to because if you're like me, this offseason is absolutely grueling, I can't take it much longer...but this should get me through and I'm hoping it helps you out too.  So if I seem a little grumpy, it's not a girl problem or a problem at home.  It's college football nagging my brain again.  So be ready, prepare yourself for this groundbreaking event.  Study up on the great game and be ready to agree, disagree, love, hate, and argue with my predictions.  There's something in this blog for everyone, because your team is in it if you like an FBS team.  So tell your friends, your family, your neighbor, the poor man on the street, and the drunk guy you met at the bar that this is real and it is coming.  Will you be ready?

Guys! We didn't get enough members in our league yet again, so I'm gonna make it public this time and if you don't get to it in time, too bad.

Here's a link to the league, if you don't make it to bad, get over it.

The League is public, so no pasword is needed.
It is going to be a great season. Watch out for a serious run again for the SEC in the championship and the two teams to watch with their schedule for a championship shot is Clemson and Missouri. Clemson has issues with Tommy never finishing but this is a loaded team. Missouri has to get by Oklahoma and KU but this team is loaded and they have a real shot. LSU, Florida, UGA, Auburn; all have real shots and Alabama and Tennesse also could make allot of noise. Getting thrugh the SEC with one loss may be very hard this year. I do pick South Carolina at 5 wins- Sorry "old ball coach".

USC and Ohio State both will be in the race. Of course if they played one solid SEC team during the year.. Ohio State may actually learn how to finish.
