Interesting game to say the very least. Don't get me wrong, I'm not down playing what either team did, but Michigan had no reason why they should have won this game. What the stats don't show is Hart fumbling the ball twice, both times inside the 5-yard line, and Henne throwing picks on throws he never should have made. But at the same, I have o sit back and wonder, how could FLorida possibley lose this game? They made a man how last fumbled two years ago, fumble twice in a single game.

At the same time, I have to tip my hat to the Michigan defense. The offense gave the ball away four times, yet you guys stepped up and won the game for Michigan. You guys were able to stop the Heisman winner from running (second year in a row the Heisman winner has had a sub-par bowl game), and forced Florida to use Harvin more than they want to. They also did a very nice job of pressuring Tebow in the pocket. When ever the Michigan defense did not knockdown or hit Tebow in the pocket, the defensive line was able to get their hands up and obscure Tebow's vision.

Michigan's offensive was very impressive. They manhandled the Florida defensive. Florida tried to use their speed as they did against Ohio State, but Michigan just used sheer power to push the defensive line back. The offensive line was constiantly getting off the ball and pushing the defensive line backwards for three, four yards per running play.

Many people, including myself, did not give Michigan a chance. But, they sent a hall of fame coach out on top, the way it should be. Goodbye preseason top 5 for Florida. Goodbye seniors, especially Chad Henne and Mike Hart, good luck in the NFL. Goobye Lloyd Carr, may good fortune follow you. Hope to you enjoy retirement, it ain't gonna last long before you're offered an AD job.

Capital One Bowl

Win or lose, what a great game that was. I applaud Michigan for essential beating Florida in a home game. Crongratulations to Couch Carr on going out a winner. Best of luck to all the seniors (not many for Florida) in your futures and I hope to be watching all you on Sundays. I'll try to put up stats by tomorrow and a brakedown on the game. Once again, great game Florida and Michigan.

Tournament

I would like to begin an Orange and Blue Gators Group tournament. If you are interested, let me know be either leaving your name here or fanmailing me. The first 8 or 16 will be accepted, depending on demand. Rules are not determain yet (I am thinking about possibly having 4 groups with double elimination, almost like baseball playoffs), but each topic will be Florida related; (i.e. Who posses the biggest threat to dethrone Florida basketball, or who is the better coach, Meyer or Donovan?) If you are interested then let me know and once we have 16, I will make the rules and groups. Good luck to all.
