I have just finished reading Cyne10's blog and wanted to add to it. Isn't it funny that the Giants won the Super Bowl but the day after they pull off one of the biggest upsets in SB history they aren't even considered by the very experts that predicted a 6-10 season to be a contender to win next year. I remember reading John Clayton's blog where he made a list of the top five teams to have a shot at the SB next year and he placed the Pats 1, Chargers 2, Colts 3, Cowboys 4, and the Packers 5. Ummm didn't the Giants beat 3 of those teams to win the darn thing. How in the name of all that is holy can the champs not be in the top 5. It is utterly rediculous to imagine that he wouldn't even put them ahead of the Packers and the Cowboys. He said the Giants weren't going to repeat because of the division they play in. EXCUSE ME don't the Cowboys play in that division too. It is that sort of reasoning that lead people to think they would be 6-10. The Giants are only going to get better, they will get back 2 key players that weren't even involved in their amazing run through the playoffs in Kiwanuka and Shockey who trust me is going to make one hell of a combo with Boss. Then add a draft that if it is even half as good as this last one will provide 4 more good players. Of course all could collapse but that would be due to injury like to Eli or 2 lineman etc... or more infighting which I don't see happening but it is easier to make a case for them contending than not contending. Oh and one final note for those who think Tony Romo is a top 5 QB come back to me when he actually plays well in a playoff game and wins one rather choke and not. That is all. I hope those of you who read my blog enjoy it and please leave feedback positive or negative. I am open to critisism.
