I just want to ask a real simple and quick question. Do you think that if Michael Vick had the seasons he's had the past two years, would the Atlanta Falcons organazation have offered the multi-million, multi-year deal to Vick? I give an answer at a later date, I don't want to change your minds one way or another, I want your honest answers.

No. I don't think he is that good of a QB. I don't think his ego could handle the move but if I was the coach (and had an owner that didn't worship Vick) I would make him a WR.

He is that good! read your stats baby, no one in the nfl can do what he does. i think people seem to forget the he is not the only player for the falcons. maybe if his supporting cast did thier jobs i guess there wouldn't be a question. Thier is no I in TEAM! he can't do it alone and he shouldn't be expected too!

Vick is not a "route" passer. Someone as Steve Smith of Carolina is a route runner. He may do 3 or more moves before he gets to the area the suppose to be in. Vick can not handle this type of "route" plays. In other words, he's not a "pure" QB.

I have said it before and I will say it again.... 2,000+ yards passing, 20 touchdowns, all while those bum receivers dropped over 40 balls.

If they would have cought half the balls they dropped we could possibly talking about one of the greates QB seasons ever!!!

Mike is making the throws pretty **** accurately. Hell even watching the games you can see the receivers drop the ball like their damned gloves/hands have **** on them.

There needs to be more work with Vick and his receivers.

He became a high paid QB because of his talent, because he's unique. Its just a **** shame that they cant make it work cohesively with the rest of the team.

Vick's an unbelievable quarterback, his only risk factors are his mobility and his accuracy. Even though I hate to take Woody Paige's side, Until that burns him... he's one of the best. Him being a running back would just have sped up the injury calandar.

Vick is a quality QB who has not had the best OL around him. In the last couple of years I've seen dozens & dozens of passes dropped that were ON THE MONEY - many at very key moments in the games! The Falcons need quality receivers badly. Letting Schaub go to the Texans was unavoidable as in another year he was an unrestricted free-agent & would have bolted anyway... better that ATL got something for him instead of zilch.I just hope Schaub doesn't come back to bite us like Brett Favre did (over & over again). As for Vick & the nasty story developing in VA., Vick is INNOCENT until proven otherwise. I am sickened by this story but I believe him when he says he didn't know. Maybe I'm naive, maybe the media are like paranas waiting to slice&dice their next victim in order to sell a story. I'll wait on a judge & jury to decide the man's guilt. Until then, he is innocent, period! GO FALCONS!!!

Yes, I think Vicks worth it he's a QB that can do alot of things when touches the ball. If you look at last season his offensive coordinator called bone head plays that had him running for his life. Which in a way produced a single season rushing reacord for a QB, setting a record loses its steam if you don't win the game. But when your recievers drop passes and ya running for you life through out the game people start to criticize rather than empathize. Coach Mora empathized with vick it cost him his job but Vick is worth it and with the crap he's going through now do not be surprised if he his a break out season.

I love to watch Vick play and hope that he beats these charges Im a season pass holder and will be there no matter what but its just so much better when he is on the field.I know many people disagree with me but thats their opinion and I respect that.If hes found guilty then I will be sad but Ill live.And I can be honest if he really did what hes charged with he deserves to be punished but I have always believed in innocent until proven guilty and the people that are involved in this with him are probably going to turn on him, and I also believe before its all said and done there will be many well known players that will be implicated also, so many of these people that are wanting Vicks head on a platter may have some of the favorite players in court also.

In a word- NO. He is extremely overrated. I've never thought he merited the rave reviews he always got. As a outstanding athelete, he is more than qualified. As a team leader, he is a failure.
I've never been one to say atheletes are supposed to be models of our society, but I think any **** who would hurt a dog should pay for it big-time. Hopefully, the NFL puts a lifetime ban on him. Pete Rose was banned from baseball for BETTING for gods sake!

Do you honestly believe that he would have stopped fighting dogs if this investigation hadn't taken place? Heck, the guy couldn't even apologize in person, which shows how remorseful he really is about the whole situation. He plead guilty because he could no longer lie and get away with it. Vick is as good as done, if not for the dogfighting and lying to the commissioner and Falcons owner, but because he gambled. Sorry if you Falcons fans will never see Vick in a Falcons unifrom before, but just because a guy fills up seats doesn't mean he's above the law.
And for Vickfan4life, who believes that pitbulls are naturally vicious, you could not be more ignorant. Pitbulls are vicious because they are trained to be vicious. I have friends with pitbulls that are the nicest dogs you'll ever meet. When pitbulls are adopted or bred by owners that simply want to fight them, then yes, they become vicious. Put them in a good environment, and they're good pets. They're products of their environment.
In the end, Michael Vick will be a passing thought, a footnote in the history of football, and all the apologies and athletc plays in the world will not change that.

I'm a long time fan..love the sport, the Falcons, NFL. But what's wrong with you folks that you can't separate right from wrong? Wankle...get it...Benoit has nothing to do with this except to confirm our society has its' priorities totally mixed up. At least Benoit was on mind altering drugs....was Vick? I'd even feel better....that he could torture, maim and murder innocent animals WITHOUT being on drugs is the more frightening thought. When will sport fans and Americans be smart enough to separate 'stars' and athletes from their JOB and hold them responsible for their actions. NO team is worth this kind of unethical and immoral role modeling.
