Wakefield pitched seven innings of two-hit ball to take advantage of another offensive outburst and beat Baltimore 12-1 on Saturday night.
Wakefield allowed one run and struck out six, extending his impressive run of starts. He has a 2.13 ERA over his last nine starts, lasting at least seven innings eight times over that span. "Everything's been clicking for me," Wakefield said. "I don't want to change anything. I've been on a run and hopefully I can keep doing that."
