Gordon isn't expected to return from the disabled list any time soon, despite being eligible to play Thursday, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Gordon appears to be struggling with right elbow inflammation. He's been long-tossing, but not throwing off a mound yet. There is still no timetable for his return as his rehabilitation schedule is also unknown. This could be a serious issue for the Phillies.
