Griffey's two-run shot - the 603rd of his career - in the bottom of the ninth sent Cincinnati to a 4-3 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday night.
With Paul Maholm on the mound, Griffey - who hits .200 against lefties - wasn't in the starting lineup. But he still launched the fifth game-ending homer of his career.
