Kent went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs in the Dodgers' 4-1 win over Houston on Wednesday night.
Kent has two hits in each of the first three games of the series against the club with which he played in 2003 and 2004. Since leaving the Astros for the Dodgers before the 2005 season, Kent's batting .488 with three homers, six doubles, 11 RBIs and six runs scored in 12 games at Minute Maid Park.
Kent went 2-for-4 and homered off Wesley Wright in the 11th inning to give the Dodgers, who blew a five-run lead, a 7-6 victory Tuesday night.
It was Kent's first homer in his last 20 games. He's hitting .261 with nine homers and 36 RBIs this season.
