Jones has played first base during his rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas, the Los Angeles Times reported.
It's unclear when the struggling slugger will be ready to return. He's been out since Aug. 9 with a knee problem, carrying a .161 average and three home runs in 205 at-bats to the disabled list.
