Uribe started at third base in the White Sox's 10-8 win over Texas on Wednesday as Joe Crede was scratched from the lineup with a back injury.
Details of Crede's injury are unknown at this point, but the All-Star third baseman has had trouble with his back in the past. He was limited to 47 games last year before undergoing surgery. Look for Uribe to replace him if the injury is a problem. Uribe went 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and a run on Wednesday.
