Jacobs missed his third straight game Saturday with a strained left quad.
Jacobs, who has two homers and seven RBIs in his last four games, is batting .271 with nine home runs and 24 RBIs in 29 games this season.
Breaking News: Thursday, May 08
Jacobs left the Marlins' 6-2 win over Milwaukee on Wednesday after experiencing tightness in his left quadriceps.
The extent of the injury is unknown. If he struggles with it, look for Wes Helms to replace him at first base, which he did on Wednesday.
