Lincecum allowed three runs while striking out eight in six innings of an 8-3 win over the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.
Lincecum has won six straight decisions since suffering his only loss of the year April 29 against Colorado. He has 19 strikeouts over 13 innings spanning back-to-back victories, and has taken over the NL lead with 122 strikeouts. He's one shy of major league-leading C.C. Sabathia of Cleveland.

Lincecum dominated the Oakland Athletics on Saturday, striking out 11 and allowing five hits in seven innings of the Giants' 1-0 victory.
Lincecum rebounded from perhaps his two worst starts of the season, as he had allowed nine runs in 12 innings in a pair of no-decisions. He's still 9-1 with a 2.38 ERA this year, with an NL-leading 114 strikeouts in 109 2-3 innings.
