they were frauds against the heisman winning florida team...or taking wisco to last play game with 5 turnovers...or bc to l;ast play game as well...

no one talks about how Big 12 eeks out wins to be considered greats....BS! or how about the Pac ten going 3-3 with playing an inner conference game... nope just the Big ten an the less than stellar season...the BIg 10 played the hardest teams overall in bowl games and every gawks about how bads they are....

I agree steve the Big TEn did play really SEC teams in the bowl games. i mean UM playing UF and Illinois playing USC and UW palying TENN. yeah those are hard games and so far the only big ten team that has beaten a SEC team in a bowl game has been UM.

Throwdown statement refers to the statement of fact. The very thing you clicked on to argue against. THAT is what the argument is SUPPOSED to be about.

Ok, we get it. Ohio State can't win titles against SEC teams. Ask Urban Meyer if the Big Ten is a fraud. His Heisman-led Gators just lost to the fourth best team in the Big Ten.

USC lost by to one the country's poorer teams over which they were favored by 40 points. At home. To a backup QB. Yet as they closed their season, many said they deserved to play for the title.

It's not that the Big Ten is fraudulent, it's that there's a disconnect between what Tressel does in the regular season and what he does in bowls.

Two years? Well that's definitive. I think we can all safely say that no Big Ten Team will win another National Championship EVER!!!!!!!!

I suppose the same goes for the PAC 10, Big East, ACC, and Big 12. They haven't even made the Title game the last two years, which clearly means they never will.

Wow, brilliant. He predicted that the Big Ten will HAVE A CHANCE to win NC in the NEAR FUTURE. Now that's going WAAAAYYYY out on a limb.

the big ten does not revolve around OSU the big ten has some other teams to you know. OSU got the National bowl game by luck. but like i said put another big ten team in there like a 100% MIchigan team and you will have a game that will be the highlights for years.

or put a 100% USC team in there and that will be one hell of a game.
