Is it blatantly obvious of how bored I am at work today? :) Anyways, I went in the vault and started thinking of some funny NHL team names over the years: Millionaires, Seals, Pole Smokers (OK, the last one is fake) but you get the idea. I decided to use baseball as there have been more team names and the more popular sport. Pick your top 3 in order.
3. Brooklyn Bridegrooms (now LA Dodgers)
2. Chicago Orphans (now the Cubs)
1. Boston Beaneaters (now Atlanta Braves)
Arguments will follow when opponents list is presented... If this can even be argued. I mean, it's personal comedic preferences. :)

I'll take a few stabs. Don't know how it can go further than the opening arguments, but what the heck.
3. Brooklyn Supurbas (why change it from Bridegrooms to Surpurbas, but they did)
2. St Louis Perfectos (I guess they were smokers)
1. Allegheny Innocents (Now the Pittsburgh Pirates)

Well said and well selected teams. I was dabbling with the Supurbas but I thought Bridegrooms was a funnier "all around" team name.
Anyways, comedy is based on personal preference so it's tough to argue. Since there are 1200 characters in each space I hate to waste them. Here's why I feel mine are funnier (does that make me or them less funny for arguing this?). :)
OK. Bridegrooms is such a fancy term. I reminds me of the quintessential term used for by grade schoolers "Nancy Boy". Supurbas makes them sound so fantastic that they feel they need to call themselves that. Either that or they are so crappy they wanted people to like them despite their poor record.
What's funnier than an orphan? Seriously here?! Look at the two orphan characters used on The Simpsons. How many laughs have you had their people? I'm sure Family Guy must have spoofed that too. I apologize to all FN orphans in advance....
Finally the Beaneaters. OK. Boston has always been known as Bean-Town but actually referring to its players as Beaneaters? WOW! This is the lowest of the low. They honestly could NOT come up with anything aside from Beaneaters? No vicious cats like all the little league teams? Please.

Hi John. Good luck with this ridiculous Friday TD. I may make some quirky TD like this every Friday afternoon if it's liked. If not, I'll ponder ending my existence...

Thanks for the LoveitHaiteit. I might make a useless TD like this starting....NOW! Every Friday you can see FCB82 make a complete fool of himself with random TDs about quirky things. Could it be names? Stats? Smells? WHO KNOWS?! I should be careful or I'll quickly establish myself as the Weird Al of FN--not funny.

Sorry, but 7-1 with no arguments posted proves what I 've said all along about Fannation. So I forfeit.
