Why should there even have a Super Bowl, we all know who is going to win and go down as the best team and thats the New England Patriots! Tom Brady is amazing this year and who cares if they can't run the ball as great as some other teams.... Who Cares!!!! Brady can dink and dunk his way down the field every series and if he has to, he can launch a 50 yarder to Moss or Welker and they will come down with it. The Patriots have shown that NO ONE CAN'T STOP THEM!!! and even though the last meeting was close, its because the Giants had LUCK on there side... don't expect the Patriots to have this game close at all. There is TOO MUCH talent on the Patriots and ELI will choke like he usually does! I say the Giants will keep this game close till the pre-game show and Patriots will win 34-14....... MVP---Tom Brady

Why play the game? The Pats are a lock? Here's why:
Super Bowl III Jets-16, Colts 7
Super Bowl XXXVI New England 20, Rams 17
Super Bowl XXXII Denver 31, Packers 24
Super Bowl IV KC 23, Minny 7
Super Bowl XXV Giants 20, Bills 19
In every single one of those Super Bowls, the winning team was a HUGE underdog coming into the game.
THAT is why they play the game.
There is nothing "easy" about winning a Super Bowl.

Yes there is if your team is 17-0!!! none of those Top Dogs were undefeated going into the Super Bowl! Eli better hopes Big Brother Peyton comes and watches, because he will choke like he does! The pats defense will not give up more than 80 yards on the ground for Brandon Jacobs and Brady will tear them up offensively! Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all-time and maybe the best after haftime adjustments! There is no way the giants will win this game!
Cowboys-Celtics-Chisox said 01/28, 01:54 AM
**** does undefeated coming in have to do with it? To the Pats get extra points to start the game because of their previous record, or something?
The rest of your ramble is nothing more than you saying why you think the Patriots will win and giving ridiculous predictions. It doesn't address why your first sentence was "Why should there even have a Super Bowl".
Anything can happen in a football game. In the SUPER BOWL that gets tripled.
You contend the Pats are heavy favorites, I gave you five examples of HUGE upsets in Super Bowls past. You say they shouldn't even bother to play the game, I say playing the game is the only way to prove or disprove your theory.
Your only answer is to repeat the Patriots record thus far? Got new for ya, neither last week nor week 1 will have ANY bearing what so ever on THIS game.
To quote Chris Berman..."That's why they play the games".

Yes your right... the undefeated season has nothing to do NOW since its the "Super Bowl" But have you seen what the patriots have done in there "pursuit for perfection!!!!" Brady- most TDs in a season Moss- most receiving TDs in a season Welker- most receiving catches this season!!!! The Patriots have shown that there the better team and what not!
Yeah your right....its the Super Bowl, The Giants will be pumped and ready to go....OOOO all the upsets that have happened!!!! Do you think the Patriots arn't going to be pumped and as ready as the Giants? For the simple fact of the Patriots probably going to play as hard as ever this year should show that there shouldn't be any Super Bowl. 18-0!!!!! Does that ring a bell!!!!!!..... When they had a bad game here and a bad game there... they still found a way to come out with the WIN!!!! WHY?!? because of great coaching. Tom Coughlin shouldn't even be consider in the same league as Bill Belichick!!! Belichick is 3-0 as head coach in the Super Bowl and getting ready to be 4-0.... Like i said.........too much talent and its going to be a complete waste of my time... when i see Brady having 5 TDs and Manning throwing 5 picks....
Cowboys-Celtics-Chisox said 01/28, 02:32 AM
Sure, I saw what they did. Also saw them almost lose the game to the Ravens...on a mistake the much more disciplined Giants would not make. That would be the 4-win Ravens.
Were the Pats not hyped up LAST week? 'Cause that game wasn't put away until late. And they were playing a team with a QB who had a torn MCL and a RB watching most of it from the sidelines. I guess winning 18 games gets you hyped up more than winning 17?
Is Brady going to become the first player in NFL history to fully recover from a high ankle sprain in two weeks time? Same injury T.O. had, and three weeks to recover wasn't enough. And Owens was rehabbing on Christmas day and New Years day, as well as sleeping in a hyberberic chamber. He wasn't hobbling to his girlfriends house on his day off. Forget Romo going to Mexico, Brady showing up at Geiselles place wearing a walking boot is a MUCH more legit story. Oh, the latest is Tom was spotted yesterday still sporting a noticeable limp.
I'm not arguing the Pats can't or won't win the game, only that it's NOT the cake walk you seem to think it is. And, again, 18-0 means NOTHING this week. Every winning streak in history ended with a loss.

Okay first off I want everyone to know I'm a Patriots fan for this one!
You say the Patriots will win easily and why even have a Superbowl? I remember in 2001 The Rams were two touchdown favorites over the Patriots...What happened? The Pats came out on fire and took the game late in the fourth! All I am saying is that is why they play the game....Also did you happen to see the game in week 17 when the Pats played these Giants? It was a hard fought game which the Pats had to come BACK IN TO WIN! Manning played his best game of the season, and the Giants have a good attack against the Patriots.
I want the Patriots to win, I really DO! But you CANNOT say the Patriots will win easily. It's the Superbowl both teams will bring there A GAME!

Most receiving catches?" As opposed to running catches?
