The NBA should makes some changes to the the NBA All Star game.

I have a interesting idea.

What I would do is take a page from Major League Baseball and have the NBA All Star game decide Home court advantage in the NBA FInals.

It would put a lot of juice to the game. It would gives teams in the Eastern Conference like the Celtics or Pistons the best chance to beat any team from the Western Conference.

Just image the Celtics or Pistons have Game 7 of the NBA Finals at home thanks to the East beating the West in the NBA All Star Game.

I think that will peak everybody's interest.

When it comes to the all-star game, you can mix and twist things around.. have new ideas.. But you shouldn't let it affect the rest of the season.. I do not believe in the MLB that the All star game determines who gets home field advantage. So in that case, I'll disagree with that idea of the NBA all-star game..

Well... I don't think it really matters. The higher seed shown has played better in the regular season, and deserves credibility if they make it to the Finals with the better record than their opponent who could have like 15 less wins...

"I have a interesting idea. "

No you don't. You STOLE a BAD idea from MLB. NO WAY any exhibition game should EVER decide something so important.

Umm, as it stands right now, both Detroit and Boston would have home court advantage vs. ANY Western Conference team. So, it may actually hurt their chances if the West won the All Star Game under your rule.

Even if things were different in the standings right now, why do you want to give the Eastern Conference teams advantage they didn't earn? And don't say they did earn it, because their conference won the ASG, because no individual team EARNS anything by winning the ASG.

i say yes then the players would actually try the whole game and it would be way more intense
