i think your best bet would be
mets-the best pitching rotation
Detriot-best lineup
dudeman. said 02/24, 11:15 PM
There's a couple things I have a problem with in your argument:
1.) No argument
2.) No choice
Now, with that said, I will make my prediction:
A team NO ONE is talking about:
The Arizona Diamondbacks.
They have both a great rotation and a great lineup. They have great talent in Chris Young, and some veteran talent in Eric Byrnes. They have a great 1-2 punch in Webb and Haren. I rally have nothing to argue against because you didn't make a choice.
JohnnyJ said 02/24, 11:25 PM
okay my choice will be the mets because everything is about pitching in the MLB the mets rotaion is
Johan
martinaz
john maine
Perez
Hernadez
pelfry
also the infield is amazing
dudeman. said 02/25, 10:11 PM
So we have Mets vs. D-Backs.
Now, you say that the Mets have the best rotation in the league. No, they don't. The Red Sox have a better rotation, and so do the Padres.
They may have the best infield, but they don't have the best lineup. Detroit, as you stated, has a better lineup.
The D-Backs are the more well rounded team. They won a harder divisiom last year, and turned heads.

Report Offensive CommentMets rotation is good but the bullpen is shaky.
I like the D-Backs pick. And don't sleep on the Angels. They improved their already deep rotation and their line-up this year.

Report Offensive CommentMets rotation is not the best. More like fourth best.
It's ok to be a homer, but delusional is different.

Report Offensive CommentMets rotation is not the best in the NL...not even close...even with having the best pitcher in baseball...so, if that's the best reason you can come up with, you lose this TD...

Report Offensive Commentjohnny j youre a complete idiot. The mets dont have the best pitching, not by a long shot. The Red Sox, Indians, Blue Jays, Diamondbacks, Dodger, Cubs, Reds, Phillies, Marlins, NAtionals, Padres, and MAriners all have better ptiching staffs bc each one of those teams has more depth in thier rotation and bull pen. You cant base a pitching roation on 1 player, even if it is Johan Santana
The tigers have a good lineup, but thier pitching is injury prone and mediocre. Thier bull is thin even when it is healty, and theres always guys on the DL in thier pen. Thier pen is so weak MArio and Luigi could both make the Tigers roster if they tried out as relievers. Who knows maybe there might be space for Yoshii to fill in for the slew of RPs that will land on the DL for DET. They dont play defense all that well and they have little speed outside of granderson. The Indians are still a better team in the Central. Maybe you need to find new intrests
My advice to you is to learn a thing or 2 about baseball BEFORE you create TDs about it.

After Johan, where is this "best pitching rotation"
Only a delusional Mets fan looks at that list and sees a great rotation
Here is what someone that has been involved with the game of baseball for almost 30 years sees:
A great ace, an old Pedro coming off MAJOR shoulder surgery that will never throw his dominating fastball again.
I see a young Maine that was 6-5 with a 3.6 era last year that MAY be good this year and MIGHT be great someday. Perez had a +6.00 era with double digit losses. An ancient ElDugue and Pelfry who is 5-9 with a +5. era the last TWO years.
Get real!
