First state final 4 and arguee second..

I say UNC, Kansas, Memphis, and UCLA

My final four:

UNC
Georgetown
Texas
UCLA

I had Texas in my elite 8 and in my hs team bracket i do have them making it. Georgetown will not. They have no chance if some1 can stop Roy Hibbert. Wisconsin will make it if Kansas does not. Brian Butch is able 2 take Roy Hibbert. Kansas just has 2 much shooting 4 georgetown and so does wisconsin. If roy does bad they will lose 2 the biggest sleeper Davidson in the 2nd round. I think Memphis can beat Texas but its in Texas so that is a huge advantage and being 2 6 ncaa games last year that does matter. I just dont c gt getting in. If Hibbert cant score on villanova how t Fu** can he score on Brian Butch and Wisconsin or Kansas. I think Clemson and Vandy r better than them. Who do u have winning it all? I say UNC over UCLA. Hansbrough is 2 much 4 any team in the midwest bracket. UCLA has the easiest road 4 any 1 seed in my opinion if they can get past Drake. U laugh now but Drake is better than a 5 seed. They r better than 2 #4 seeds and 1 3 seed. The Badgers should have gotten a 2 seed over GT or Duke or Tennessee. I dont ever go by seeds when i pick teams but i have 3 1v2 seeds in the elite 8. I do think Xavier can beat Duke. Also Wisconsin vs Kansas.

If Kansas doesn't. You're always saying if. Those are BIG ifs.

Hibbert isn't Georgetown's only weapon. They have Jonathan Wallace, DaJuan Summers, Austin Freeman, Jessie Sapp, etc. There's more to GU than Hibbert.

"I think Memphis can beat Texas but its in Texas so that is a huge advantage" You just helped me here. You said Texas has an advantage over Memphis. That they do. I think Texas is the over all deeper team, while Memphis has some woes, most notably free throw shooting. Texas is strong in every category.

I think Kansas is a better team than Wisconsin. Wisconsin is nothing without Butch, unlike Georgetown. Kansas is the deeper team, compared to Wisconsin.

Did you just say Vandy and Clemson are better than the Big East regular season champs? I hope you are joking. Georgetown is heads and shoulders better than those teams.

There's no way all the #1 seeds will make the final four. It's never happened, and it never will. Too many other dangerous teams out there. I see Kansas and Memphis losing in the Elite 8 or Sweet 16.

Sry 2 tell u but Pittsburgh is the big east champion not georgetown. So yes Clemson is better than the big east champion. Wisconsin has Marcus Landry, Trevon Hughes, and Michael Flowers. I would not be surprised if Georgetown lost to Davidson. In their confernce tournament Memphis shot 75% for free throws. Last year in the NCAA tournament they shot 72% so they do better in march. I really like Wisconsin and I can see Kansas losing 2 them but that is a different td. Memphis is pumped up and wanting 2 show all those people that doubt them.

Y does it matter if Kansas is better that Wisconsin they r not ur pick so i dont know ur point there.

If Texas was very deep in every cateragory they would not have lost 2 Mich st, Wisconsin, Missouri, or most notably Texas Tech. Every if u say in the ncaa tourney talk is a big if cause upsets happen. Davidson will give GT a run for there money.

I said "regular season champs." Not tournament champs.

Memphis knows what they're doing in March. But I don't see how thye can improve a 59% free throw percentage dramatically. It could end up losing a game for them, or making games closer than they should be.

Davidson will give GU a run, but GU has something Davidson doesn't have much of: defense. GU, statistically, had the best defense in the Big East, only giving up 58 points per game. In the tournament, the most important things are defense and foul shooting. Georgetown's got both.

Texas has:

DJ Augustin-All American
AJ Abrams-Very good sidekick for Augustin
Damian James-Monster in the paint
Connor Atchley-Good shooter for a big guy
Justin Mason-Solid contributing guy

They've got all the talent in the world to make a big run.

In conlusion, I have found that it is extremely unlikely all 4 #1 seeds will make the Final Four. It's never happened before, and I doubt it'll start now. There's just too many other talented and highly seeded squads out there.

There's no way all of them make it.

March 16, 2008  09:29 PM ET

March 16, 2008  09:29 PM ET

Cowboys-Celtics-ChiSox | 03/16/08, 09:37 PM

Agreed. Same with UNC. Kansas? Probably so.

March 16, 2008  10:37 PM ET

No vote. Neither has the final four as erwins insistence on putting Georgetown in there is laughable at best.

March 16, 2008  11:39 PM ET

Vote to the person who picked UNC

March 17, 2008  01:49 AM ET

UCLA all the way. The rest doesn't matter!

March 17, 2008  03:20 AM ET

Don't sleep on the Badgers. They will make up for getting screwed out of 2 seed by making the final four.

March 17, 2008  07:37 PM ET

Putting Georgetown in is not laughable.

March 18, 2008  08:22 PM ET

It could always be the year.....except any year that Memphis is a #1. They'll flame out like they always do. Sorry, they aren't that good. They don't play anyone that actually has a defense and they can't make free throws. That is not going to get it done in the tourney. They need to make a much tougher OOC schedule. Maybe play some teams like Pitt, or WSU to get their shooters used to working against people that actually guard.

The East bracket is going to be interesting. Any team there has a very tough road but I honestly would not be surprised to see Indiana, Tennessee or WSU come out of there as much as UNC.
