wow, i was up 2-0, i blinked and you're up 5-2 now !!!
first off, yunel escobar of the braves is a SS, not a 3rd baseman. Chipper Jones is the Braves 3rd baseman.
i also wouldn't necessarily put Ellsbury over Adam Jones to be the better future OF star.
Jones is a 5 tool player and has now become a major centerpiece for the Orioles (he was a centerpiece of the Mariners future before coming to Charm City) and Ellsbury is suspect defensively to the point that it's being suggested he and Coco Crisp split time because Crisp is so much better in the field. You could also argue that Jones is faster than Ellsbury too.
I'm also not too sure that you can put Barton over Clement at catcher. Clement set the national record with 75 home runs and in AAA last year he hit 20 home runs and slugged .497. Also, Clement was ranked the 3rd best young prospect in the Majors, while Barton wasn't in the top 20.

Proof Escobar is a 3B:
http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7938
Adam Jones vs. Jacoby Ellsbury:
Ellsbury is considered the future of the Red Sox. Jones isn't the centerpiece for the Orioles (Roberts is). Ellsbury hits for a high average, and is speedier than Jones. He had 5 more doubles and stole 7 more bases in 2007.
Daric Barton vs. Jeff Clement
AAA is not the majors. Barton has proven he can play at the major league-level, and Clement hasn't.
In 2007, Barton played 18 games, and Clement 9. I will do some math, and figure out the projected stats between Barton and Clement for 18 games:
HR: 4 vs. 4 (Tie)
RBI: 8 vs. 6 (Barton)
Walks: 10 vs. 6 (Barton)
K: 11 vs. 6 (Clement 'cause he has less)
Barton wins 2-1-1.

okay, doesn't seem like i'm gonna get more votes here so arguing is pointless since you've gotten 6 straight votes.
but, Adam Jones will become a better player than Ellsbury and there's no way that in time Ellsbury will be shown as faster than Jones.
Also, your stat comparison above isn't that convincing. Both haven't played enough to make an honest comparison just yet in the terms that you're talking about. The #'s are very close anyway.
In sports illustrated the magazine and si.com's website Escobar from the Braves is listed as a SS so either they're wrong or your source is wrong...

c'mon dude! i blew a 4-vote lead once...it came back to end at 8-8
Ellsbury hits for a better average, and he has a brighter future. People think of him as the future of the Red Sox, that means that they take him over Buchholz and Pedroia.
Barton is underrated, and I believe that he can be a player with pop, and a pretty good glove.
Different sources have different listings...

I'm glad you didn't stick with a regular roster limit......more slots to fill = more of a chance for differences = more angles to argue.
