Well, its kind of a no-brainer for this guy to pick Bavaro, since he's one of the only tight ends that fans can remember on this team. But in the end, there's only one NY Giant tight end in the NFL Hall of Fame, and that man is Red Badgro. And until Bavaro gets there, which its now been 14 years and he hasn't.....there's simply no way he can be considered the best. The best is in the NFL Hall of Fame....all hail Red Badgro.

Wow, Cleveland and Philadelphia, huh? Well, I guess that's what I should expect when your argument consists of the total effort of cutting and pasting from another site.

But in the end, the NFL says that the only tight end in the entire history of the NY Giants proud franchise worthy of entry to the Hall of Fame is Red Badgro. And that alone is all the evidence anyone needs to see to determine who the best tight end is. Bavarro has been retired well long enough for them to evaluate his career. And the Hall of Fame says....NOT WORTHY.

Par for the course. starts an argument and walks away. Anyway, the point is that Bavaro was good, not great. He had a good run and walked off into the sunset. But with ZERO Hall of Fame consideration, he can never claim to be the best at anything.

Even though Red Badgro has 7 career TD's and is in the HOF... He was the first player to score a TD in ANY NFL title game
