Literally and figuratively, the dinos are done. It would be a nice story for the only Canadian team to get a bit farther in the Easter conference, but lets be realistic:

1) They are down 2 games to 0 against the 3rd place team in the conference

2) Dwight Howard is doing his best Terminator impression by getting 20 and 20 in the first 2 games of the series

3) The Raptors are playing hot potato with the ball. They are averaging like 340 turnovers in the first quarter alone. Hyperbole sure, but seriously.... 340 turnovers!!!

Magic win this one in a cake walk 4-1

Really there done???

I thought this was a 7 game series. Is it not?

Nobody is ever done after 2 games because they can always mount an "Amazing" Comeback. Remember the Redsox vs. Yankees in 2004?

340 Turnovers in the first quarter!!!!!!!!!

A bit of a stretch there isnt it? Comon now

By the way Dwight "Superman" Howard doesnt play terminator because he's SUPERMAN

HYPERBOLE, look it up. I know it isn't 340 turnovers.

The match up the Raptors were supposed to run with in the series was at PG. However, Ford and Calderon are playing terribly.

The Raptors aren't playing any semblance of defense, they are getting killed in the open floor and I don't see anyone stepping up to help Bosh. They are lacking the killer instinct teams need in the playoffs. Down 1 point with 6 seconds left and the play they run is a 25 footer by Bosh? UMMMM no. Go to the rack for a dunk/layup and hope they foul you if u don't make it. Why take the risk of a deep shot by your power forward?

Makes no sense, and the Raptors can't crawl out of the hole they have dug. A 6th place team in the crappy East won't overcome a 2-0 deficit.

Forfeited Turn

2-1 for Orlando. Everything aligned for the Raps in their first win, and that won't happen 3 more times. The Raps led in EVERY statistical category other that points in the paint. I guess I can't really argue much since you didn't post a rebuttal.

Everything aligned for the Raps in their first win, and that won't happen

Since when did you become "Basketball Jesus"???? Only he truly knows whats going to happen!!

The truth is that the only thing that aligned for the Raps was they got the point guard play that they havent been getting which led them to a win.

T.J. Ford and Jose Calderon combined for 39 points 12 Rebounds and 16 assists that pole vaulted them over the magic.

You said yourself that the point guards were the key well here they are!!!

Truthfully nobody can ever really be sure of anything in the NBA during the playoffs. Why?

Because upsets happen and thats part of the drama that draws the casual fan.

For all we know in the next game Dwight Howard could go down with an injury that has him out for the rest of the playoffs, and if that happens I don't think the Magic even have much of a chance.

So you see its not cut and dry as you may have us believe and that is why the raptors are not extinct.

The Raptors are done. Game 2 was their last chance to make this a series, and now with that painful game 2 loss the Raptors will be lucky to avoid a sweep.

I have been basketball Jesus since 1984. The title was passed down to me by Dave Bodean after a boating mishap that involved waterskiing, a goat, 3 midgets dressed as ninja and 9 bottles of tequila.
