Manny Ramirez

MANNY has already hit 496 homers. He is a career 315 hitter. He has already hit 6 homers this year and 20 rbis. He isn't slowing down at all. Manny has 5 more good years smolt maybe 1

I realize Manny is one of the best power hitters of all time and a 1st ballot HOFer, but Smoltz has had just as ridiculous as a career.
He's had 210 wins and would've had more if he not closed for the Braves from 2002-2004. And in those 3 years, he racked up 144 saves. He has 154 saves overall in his career. Not only that, but he's one of the greatest postseason pitchers in the history of baseball, going 15-4 with a 2.65 ERA in October. All while doing it on the same team for about 20 years. He's the only pitcher to have at least 200 wins and at least 100 saves ever. He also has 3,006 Ks in his career.
This year, he is 3-1 with a 0.78 ERA.

Manny has hit a homer off of smolts in 7 a-bs. He has hit against great al east and central in his career. He loves to hit and can do it.

Ok...so Smoltz has struggled against Manny in his career. But who hasn't? Everyone has been hit by Manny,
Here's my point. Other hitters have done what Manny has done. Other hitters have hit over 500 HRs and hit over .300
But no one has been a more flexible pitcher and more consistent (maybe except Greg Maddux) than Smoltz.
