AL: Ervin Santana

NL: Jake Peavy

AL: Cliff Lee

NL: Brandon Webb

well Lee will start giving up way more runs than he is now and the Indians offense has deteriorated a little and can't help him out if he gives up a a few more runs than usual. Santanna has great offensive production to back him up.

And Webb is only a little better in all of the other stats and sticks out from Peavy only in wins, however he is down in K's. Both are even and there stats will be very similar at the end of the season and the Cy Young will be a toss up. I say however they give it to the Power pitcher with more K's

Cliff lee has finally gotten his control taken care of and is looking like the great pitcher the indians had been hoping for the last couple of years. Yes it's obvious he will give up some more runs considering no one will end with a .75 ERA, but he has the stuff and the offense to back him.

Santana has surprised alot of people this year. Last year he had a total lack of control and that still hasn't been fixed. He's just gotten a little better. His last outing was a sign of more bad things too come.

Webb has been dominate this year and if Peavy and him were close at the end the thing that determines it would be the wins and the fact that webb will lead his team to the playoffs and peavy wont. So the wins will give webb the edge.

Well Ervin was considered a top notch pitcher. He won 12 games his first full season, and led the Angels in wins the next year. Throw out last year he just couldn't get into his mechanics and had a "fluke" of a year and has proven he is still a top prospect.

And like I said Peavy will win more games and Webb will lose a few and the wins will even out and Peavy will get the nod for his ability to get K's.

K's don't win the cy young. Wins and plaoff apperance do, and Webb will do that, unlike peavy. He has a better team and a better chance of making the playoffs.

As for Santana he has been erratic since last year, even through some of his starts this year they still say he doesn't have great control and still say his great start won't last.

So My choices have the best chance over Kendricks based on skill and the ability to make the playoffs.
