The Cubs may not even win there divison let alone win the world series. The cardinals have better pitching and know how to get it done.The cubies are always thinking "can I really beat the curse" while Cardnial players have nothing to lose and everything to gain.They have one of the best players in the game and an amazing pitching staff to back them up.

The cubs play in one of the worst divison in baseballs so if they make the playoffs they wont be prepared.

Also the Mets,Marlins,Braves,Phillies,D-Backs, and Dodgers are all better then the Cubs,not to mention if they even reach the world series they would have to beat the winner of the American League and a team like Boston, Detroit,Okland, or even the Angles are way better then the cubs making a world series win almost impossible

"In recent history we have seen the marlins beat the Yankees in the WS the WHite SOx win a WS, The Cards win one when they where down and out and the Yankees the biggest team in baseball has not one one in 8 years. Also the Red sox broke thier streak the cubbies will do the same "

To face the facts,all those teams were good teams and knew how to play together.The Cubs are just an overrated ,overpaid mimick of the Yankees.All there players do is suck in money and produce nothing in return.Plus they dont play together.All the other teams had those role players who could get the job done and had amazing pitching staffs.The Marlins had Penny and Beckett,the White Soxs Burhle and Garland, Wainright,Reyes, and Carpenter for the Cardinals so theres almost no shared part between those world series winning teams and the Cubs.

In all the Cubs have a shot at the playoffs but theres little chance that there going to end the curse this year
