Mehmet Okur

Rasheed Wallace

Lets review both of their three point average-

Okur-.388%

Wallace-.356%

Well all you showed was their 3 point percentage this year.

Okur is a good 3 point shooter, but what makes you the best i feel is being able to hit them in the clutch. Sheed has the edge over okur easy on this one. How many times have the pistons run the pick and roll to get him free for a game tying or game winning shot. He his the best big man to take a 3 pointer in the clutch.

Not to mention hes made over 100 3s the last 3 years while okur has done this just twice. and their career percentage is not far off each other so you can really compare that.

The main factor here is that sheed has put up constant 3 point numbers and hits big shots while okur has just come on and had 2 good years, but isn't known as that guy who can hit the big 3.

I thought Rasheed was a power forward, clearly I'm wrong.

May 11, 2008  09:25 PM ET

I think Rasheed was a PF until Ben Wallace left, then he got switched over.

May 11, 2008  09:25 PM ET

He's both since Webber left.

May 11, 2008  09:26 PM ET

Brad Miller or Dirk.

May 11, 2008  09:33 PM ET

Dirk is a power forward, and I would have chosen Okur.

May 11, 2008  09:34 PM ET

i guess no one wants to wait for arguments

May 11, 2008  09:43 PM ET

OKUR. such a beast.

May 11, 2008  09:46 PM ET

I would take Okur.....and Sheed has been the center this year.

May 11, 2008  09:47 PM ET

Why are you guys wasting arguments on a name?

People have got to stop doing that.

Okur has shot a higher pct over their careers. Sheed has been steady around 35% the past 3 years Mehmet has gone up a bit each of the past 3 years.

May 11, 2008  10:24 PM ET
