The key to the cav's minus Illuguskas and King James?

I'd have say it's BIG BEN. Especially with the series with Boston. I think Big Ben holding KG to 17 points was very good. KG as we all know can go off underneath. I've heard the Delonte West argument but Big Ben needs to get those blocks underneath and rebounds. He is the KEY to the team besides the obvious. Where has Delonte played excellent at in the nba? Seattle? NO, Big Ben is a 4-time defensive player of the year in the nba. Ben Wallace has averaged 4.8 points this year and he is on the downward spiral i do believe but he still is a BIG presence. Ben holding down KG and Perkins is more important then Delonte on Rondo and Cassell in my opinion. Ben Wallace had a good game in game 3 and they won. Delonte west is a good player but Wallace is a vet. He can body up with the best player on the Celtic's which is Kevin Garnett. bottom line

I am bored so I will take this.

The main key to the Cavs' success is Delonte West. The most important position on the court in my eye is the Point Guard. You need solid Point Guard play to win. Delonte needs to play like he did in game three for the Cavs to come back and win this series.

Look back at the last couple of Championship teams.
San Antonio, the Heat, Detroit, Even L.A,

What did they all have? Solid Point guards.
San Antonio- Tony Parker
The Heat- Gary Payton but Dwayne Wade played more of the point then Payton)
Los Angeles- Derek Fisher.

You catch my drift here. You need a solid point guard to win.

Look at last year's Cavs Finals team. They didn't have a point guard. Larry Hughes and Daniel Gibson were playing point. Neither of which are good point guards. In fact they weren't even point guards at all.

You can also look at the series last year Against the Pistons. One of the main reasons that Detroit lost was that Chauncey Billups vastly underperformed.

The purpose of this first argument was to show that a solid point guard is necessary.

P.S. Just thought I should point this out. Delonte West did a lot to stop Kendrick Perkins- 4 blocks against Perkins.

Yeah, we ALL KNOW the point guard is the key position.I think that down low they need a presence besides the Ill one guskas. Big Ben was brought for a reason as well as Wally and Redz. Big Ben has won a title and Delonte hasn't got CLOSE. With KG the main target in Boston and Big Ben squaring up with him i think that's the most important position. You look at Boston and Rondo's is good but not anything to talk all day about. Delonte is a good player like i said in the argument before. Big Ben is a HUGE PRESENCE. He clogs the middle. If the Cav's have been getting at least 10 boards or more and a few blocks then the Cav's have a solid chance. Delonte has no accomplishments in the nba worth bragging about. Big Ben has the biggest defensive task. With Big Ben holding KG down then the Celtic's won't do so hot. Ray Allen if he doesn't have his jumper is pretty much useless and Paul Pierce will get his points. KG is the heart of the team and Big Ben is the one to step up and keep him sane underneath. It's a hard task but if anybody can do it it's Ben.

P.S Just thought I should point this out. Kendrick Perkins is overweight and not that great of a player in my opinion so 4 blocks agai

If Perkins wasn't that great of a threat why did you say that big Ben was needed to stop him.

Like Big Ben won that championship on his own. No he had Chauncey Billups there to run the whole thing. That is what Delonte is doing.

Alright lets compare the first two games.
Game 1 west 4pts, 2 asts 72-76 loss
Game 2 west 3pts, 5asts 73-89 loss
Game 3 West 21pts, 7asts 108-84 Win

As you can see the better Delonte West played the better the team played All-around. Wally's scoring was up. LeBron's FG% was up. All around when Delonte West plays good. The teams plays well.

Big Ben is also in the game for less time. The more time you have on the court the more key you are to the team's success simple as that.

Delonte Also hit one of the most clutch shots of this postseason against the Wizards. He made the game winning three. So you could make the argument that he is the reason they are here now. Sure it wasn't a series clinching three but if he missed and the Cavs lost the whole series could have shifted momentum.

P.S. Drew Gooden played Keving Garnet far better than Ben Wallace. So obviously they didn't feel that he key to the teams success.

I would go for Delonte West. But hey, waiting for picks and arguments.
And Underdog's opening statement is a good one.
