QB
Brees-4,424 yards, 28 tds, 276 ypg, 90 qb rating
Manning-4,040 yards, 31 tds, 252 ypg, 98 qb rating
Brees is the beeter player,he has more passing yards and almost as good of a qb rating. Also he makes players better like David Patten. The year before Patten joined the Saints he had only 1 catch, the year before 22,and in both years only 247 yards, but when he joined the Saints and Drew Brees his numbers skyrocketed.Last year he had 54 catches for 792 yards and three tds.Brees makes everyone around him better and is the better qb.
LB
Willis-174 tackles, 4 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles
Urlacher-123 tackles, 5 sacks, 0 forced fubles
As the stats show Willis is the better LB.He 51 more tackles and almost as many sacks, plus he forced two fumbles which is way better then Urlacher.
DE
Allen-65 tackles, 3 forced fumbles,14 sacks
Umenyiora-52 tackles, 5 forced fumbles, 13 sacks
I know Osi had a solid post season but Allen is the better player. He beats Osi in two of the tree stats and through his whole carrer, never had a bad season which Osi has had a couple. In 06-07 he only had 6 sacks and 41 tackles,so Allen is the better and more consistant player.

Even though AP has had only one year in the league his accomplishments speack for themselfs. The guy had the most rushing yards ever in a game and averaged almost 100 yards in every game he played Hes one of the best players in the game and deserves to be on the list
In the last two years Brian Westbrook has been the main part of the Eagles offense. In each year he has ran for over 1,200 yards, averaged 4.8 ypc and scored seven touchdowns. Not to mention he has the best hands out of all the rb's in the NFL and had 77 catches for 771 yards and 5 tds.For a wide revier those are good number but for a running back there amazing making him a top 10 player
Bob Sanders is the heart and sole of the Colts defense.Hes a playmaker and a ball hawk safty all making tackles and causing the qb trouble.Last year he had 97 tackles,4 sacks and 2 picks compaired to Reeds 37 tackles ,0 sacks and 7 picks.Reed is more of a one demsional saftey while Sanders is the guy that I would want to lead my defense
Cromartie is the best corner in the NFL,he's a ballhawk like Sauders always making plays.Even though he only had 44tackles he only started 10games and still had 10 ints.Hes the best
Happy voting

Goodell: Welcome Back Peters! | 05/16/08, 05:33 PM
Report Offensive CommentWestbrook definitely a top 10 nod. He is the #1 back IMO, even over Tomlinson.(Dont challenge me on that people, i will not accept lol). Peterson isnt even close to the top 10.
Brees shouldnt be there. PUting him there will only bring out the haters. I'll just have to try and keep my mouth shut and take the bashing.
