this is a no brainer. ohio state is a guaranteed winner of the big ten no doubt. their only conference loss may be at wisconsin. enough said.

Illinois has one of the most underrated qb's coming back in Juice Williams.Last year he threw for 1798 yards and had a qb rating of 119,not to mention he was the Illini's second leading rusher (755) and is a Mike Vick protype becuase he throws a great deep ball and never gets flustered.He was the main reason that the Illini beat Ohio State last year and thill end up doing it again.

Illinois also had a terrific defense and didnt lose many starters making them beat Ohio State and win the big ten

illinois lost some threats last year and they wont be nearly as good as ohio state will be this year. the only reason he was a good rusher is because everyone was worried about mendenhall running the ball not juice. todd boeckman had the best qb rating in the big ten last year and he's back with most of his recievers. illiinois lost some of the main defensive players though. like J Leman left.the only reason that illinois beat ohio state last year is because ohiostate was more worried about the run not the pass. there was their only mistake. juice's recievers arent experienced enough to help him.

Outside of Mendenhallthey really lost nothing.Yes he was there best rusher but Daniel Dufrene averaged just as many yards per carry and should step in and make a difference so its not to big of a lose.Now yes Lemon was there best defensive player but they still have one of there best defensive players in Davis who had four picks and 76 tackles last year.Plus there best defensive lineman Brit Davis is still there who had ten sacks last year so the Illini have the pieces in place to overcome there loses.

Thank you for that statement,since Illinois was able to beat Ohio State last year with all inexperinced wide recivers who were mostly freshman with one year already under there belt there destined to be better this year and Juice wont have to rely on running as much because his receivers will be getting open and will do much better then last year.

Ohio State lost many good players to like Robiskie there leading wr, Malcolm Jenkins and Vernon Gholston all who will be misssed.

Illinois will win the Big 10

OHIO STATE IS GOING TO BE TOO POWERFUL FOR ILLINOIS!!!! vernon and malcolm will be missed but they still have many others to fill their positions like Lawrence wilson and doug worthington to fill in and brian hartline will be the top wr this year ohio states defense will be too much for the illinois offense. ohio state may;ve lost malcolm but thats their only loss in the secondary so they'll have experience and skill on ohio states side this year. plus theres still wisconsin who is the one i had in second this big ten year. ohio state will go undefeated in the conference and illinois will lose two one to osu and one to wisconsin. thanks for a good TD!

Illinois will finish fourth, behind Ohio State, Wisconson, and Penn State. That being said, I can't vote to the left because the arguments so far are so pathetic.

Ohio State is incredibly overrated, Luckily for them, everyone else in the big ten is either also vastly overrated, or just completely terrible, so they'll win the conference easily.

i have illinois at 5th....they lost 2 huge pieces of pie in the draft this year....and Juice was able to run the ball so well becasue the option was open...and who opened it most of the time? Mendenhall....it will be a lack luster year for running and the option wont get opened up as much as it did last year...

Don't count the Illini out. They did beat OSU last year and Juice will be even better this year. If they can find a good replacement for Mendenhall they could win it.
