Brian McCann vs. Russell Martin, Carlos Quentin vs. Ryan Braun, Matt Kemp vs. Ryan Church, Joe Saunders vs. Adam Wainwright, Shaun Marcum vs. Chad Billingsley.

Russell Martin is much better than Brian McCann. McCann may be doing better so far into this year but Martin has more talent and will find his groove later on. Martin has more speed than McCann.

Ryan Braun is a whole lot better than Carlos Quentin. A guy comes from scrapping for playing time to be a fabulous player? I don't think so, what we've seen so far might have been a fluke. Ryan Braun can hit for average, power and run bases.

Matt Kemp is not better than Ryan Church. Church has pretty much better numbers accross the board. Kemp has .003 more average points than Church but Church has a better OBP. Kemp has more steals and that's it.

Adam Wainwright is on pace to go 15-6. Probably worse because the Cardinal's offense will probably slump. Saunders is on pace for 24-6.

Shaun Marcum has never had a game with an ERA of over 3.50. Billingsley has had many games with an ERA of over 5.00. Opponents are hitting .060 more against Billingsley than Marcum and Billingsley is 4-6.
