The Lakers will win the Championship in Five Games.

The Celtics will have their hands full with my lakers. We match up very well they both have good benches but in the end Kobe will be (Jordan) & take over.

As a Celtics fan, I think the Lakers will win too. But! I think it will take seven games, not five.

Game one and two are in Boston, where the Celtics are stellar. They have only lost one gam at home in the playoffs. I think they will split these two games and then the Celtics will win one of the next three games, which are in LA. That makes the series 3-2 in the Lakers' favor going back to Boston. The Celtics are back at home and they are at the risk of losing it all. The crowd will be into the game and the players will play with urgency, that leads to a C's win, but I don't think they can keep it up twice in a row and the Lakers take it in seven.

Other reasons this will go to seven are these:

Ray Allen is out of his slump and he was great against the Pistons in game 5 and 6.
Paul Pierce had clutch performances all throughout these playoffs and has come through when the Celtics needed him to.
Boston's Big 3 (KG, Pierce, Allen) is better than LA's (Kobe, Pau, Odom).
Rondo, Perkins, and other role players for the Celtics can produce.

The Lakers are the better team, but they are not that much better that they would win in five games. They are evenly matched teams.

Okay, down below you talked about Phil Jackson. I admit, he is a better coach than Doc, easily. However, the Celtics are a great team with homecourt advantage. With Ray Allen out of his slump the Celtics will be much harder to defend than in the first three series.

They went to seven games in the first two series, but they were not performing as well as they are now. Also, those seven game series gave the Celtics a tiny bit of experience playing together in the playoffs. You could say that they might be tired, but they have a decent rest between the Conference Finals and the Finals, plus adrenaline.

The Celtic's players are much older and have a lot less time to win a championship compared to the Lakers. Kobe, Pau, and Odom will have more time to win than KG, Pierce, and Allen will. The Celtics will play with urgency and thye will have a fire. The Celtics will not allow the Lakers to beat them at home in less than seven games, you can tell when they play at home that they do not want to disappoint the fans.

This will be an evenly matched series and it will go further than five games. The teams are evenly matched and it could certainly go either way.

Forfeited Turn

Okay, I guess I'll just go over how even they are.

PG - Fisher easily beats Rondo in experience, but in defense and quickness Rondo has the edge. It will be hard for Fisher to keep up with Rondo, but his experience will help him deal with the pressure of the Finals.

SG - Kobe surpasses Allen in ever aspect. They are both great players and Allen is just coming out of his slump. Kobe has been on fire and is the best player on either of these teams.

SF - Pierce clearly is better than Odom (or is Radmanovic the SF?). Odom is a huge factor in the Lakers winning, but Pierce is more important to the Celtics. If these two match up against each other, it could decide the series.

I'll put KG and Pau against each other. These two are both great players with somewhat similar style and very similar build. This would be a very important match up, but I think KG is better all around.

Perkins vs. Radmanovic, even though they don't play the same position. These two are more role players than the rest on their team. They are still important though.

Bench - I'd say the bench for each team is equal

Coach - EASILY Lakers

This should be a good series, go Celtics!

Nolan Adair, did you read the arguments?

If Boston wins, My wife will go nuts. Well her and her family. lol

Report Offensive Comment

Haha I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

They'd go nuts in a good or bad way?

Report Offensive Comment

They'd go nuts in a giood way. Their from Boston. You have no idea the trouble I had dealing with them when the BoSox eliminated the Tribe last year. I heard about it until they won the WS. Then they were just happy.

Report Offensive Comment

Oh, my family and I would be very happy too. Ouch, that's rough. The Indians put up a good fight that series, have to give them props.

Report Offensive Comment

yeah but they are in the tank this year. I hope they can pull out of their funk and start winning like my baby Rays! Man go Rays!!!! hehe.

Report Offensive Comment

They have the talent to turn it around and the Rays surprised me, a lot. I wonder if they can keep it up, seems like they can.

Report Offensive Comment

no way lakers are way to good at home lakers in 6 and i know oh one game, but one game can be a lot in the playoffs

Report Offensive Comment

Yes the Rays look great. They ned only survive until their reliever returns then they are set again.

I don't know Pamand, Boston at home is a hard game every time.

Pavano is the injured one, right?

Everyone is forgetting about the main factor in this finals series PHIL JACKSON no one has talked about the zen. How many rings does this man have I THINK I LOST COUNT oh yeah 12. He knows what it takes to win it all!!

Report Offensive Comment

Ummm......Phil has 9, not 12.

Tied with the Greatest Coach of all Time, Red Auerbach.

Phil>Doc every day and twice on Sunday as a coach with championship experience, but the C's have a better TEAM.
I seriously doubt the Lakers would win in 5. I don't think they'll win at all. But if they did, it'd be 6 or 7.

Shows what I know, Azmodi.

Bravo, Diablo! But seriously, vote to the right.
