List Team only in first argument
Argue 2nd and 3rd arguments.
***Must Have at least three differences!

C-Paul Lo Duca
1B-Carlos Pena
2B-Ronnie Belliard
SS-Rafeal Furcal
3B-Ryan Zimmerman
OF-Matt Holliday
OF-Josh Willingham
OF-Vernon Wells
DH-David Ortiz

SP-Jake Peavy
SP-Fausto Carmona
SP-Daisuke Matsuzaka
SP-John Smoltz
SP-Chris Young
Closer-Troy Percival

Good Luck!

C- Ryan Doumit
1b- Carlos Pena
2b- Ronnie Belliard
SS- Troy Tulowitzki
3b- Chone Figgins
OF- Vernon Wells
OF- Matt Holliday
Of- Josh Willingham
DH- David Ortiz

SP Jake Peavy
SP Dice K
SP John Smoltz
SP Fausto Carmona
SP Tim Hudson
Relief Pitcher- Jeremy Acardo

Lo Duca vs. Doumit

Doumit wins basically everything, but in 50 less at bats, Lo Duca has only 2 K's corresponding to Doumit's 14. Lo Duca's OBP is almost .300 and he also has been walked the same amount of Doumit

Advantage: Doumit

Furcal vs. Tulo

I want to compare the stats between these two.
Stats before Injury:

F-.366 BA
T-.152 BA

F-5 HR
T-1 HR

F-16 RBI
T-11 RBI

F-34 R
T-10 R

F-8 SB
T-1 SB

Furcal slaughters Tulo in every category, and he was injured only a week later than Tulo was. Furcal definitely gets the advantage here.

Zimms vs. Figgins

I also want to compare stats here

Z-.257
F-.306

Z-8 HR
F-0 HR

Z-27 RBI
F-7 RBI

Z-24 R
F-19 R

Z-0 SB
F-19 SB
Again, my player, Zimmerman beats out Figgens here. He has much more power than Figgins, and has also driven in more runs than Figgins.

Hudson isn't even on the DL.

Percival vs. Accardo

P-1-0
A-0-3

P-2.95 ERA
A-6.57 ERA

P-21 K's
A-5 K's

P-4 BB
A-4 BB

P-14 Saves
A-4 Saves

P-.66 WHIP
A-1.54 WHIP

Percival is clearly superior to Accardo, and he has the same amount of walks in 9 more innings. Advantage: Percival

My Lineup 3 vs. Your lineup 1

I can't really argue anything here but I'll try...

Anyway, Percival has been one of the strongest closers in the MLB before he went down with an injury. He was also on one of the hottest teams in the MLB. But since he left, the Rays haven't been as good without him closing out games.

Again Hudson isn't even on the DL, plus Chris Young is another strong addition to the Padres rotation. With him back, they could be doing better than they are now, considering he won more than 10 games last year.

Tulowitski was already in his sophmore slump at the beginning of the year. He was terrible, and was one of the worst hitters on one of the worst teams in the MLB before he left. Furcal was off to a hot start, including his 5 homers and 8 SB.

Zimmerman was an offensive powerhouse for the Nats before he went down. Figgins was the Angels lead off man and its his job to score, but Zims has more runs scored than Chone. Coincidence? I think not. Zims also drove in a good 20 more RBI's than Figgins.

Ryan Doumit is a better offensive choice than Lo Duca, but Paul knows his stuff behind the plate and is good defensively.

June 7, 2008  08:31 AM ET

Question, where did this TD EVER say based on this years stats?

June 7, 2008  11:22 PM ET

I don't get this at all, this guy has 7 votes, but has not even thought about making an argument... This is where FN disappoints

June 8, 2008  10:38 AM ET

Two forfeited turns SHOULD equal a loss.
