Please dont accept if you are going to say this is stupid, only accept and argue if you can justify Atlanta going the mentioned 1-15......

The Falcons won 4 games last year and surprised many by not being the worst team in football.....They added talent despite letting several All-Pro's go and I think they will be better......

They added safety Erik Coleman, RB Michael Turner and kicker Jason Elam......

A lot of critics are pointing to their young CB's in Chris Houston, Chevis Jackson and Von Hutchins but they have experienced safeties in Coleman and Lawyer Malloy......Safeties are the last line in defense and there experience will help cover the CB's mistakes rather than young safeties trying to cover a veteran CB"s occasional mistake......

2 of their first 3 games are home games with Detroit and Kansas City so they have an excellent chance to start 2-1 and get momentum going quickly....

Further GB and TB are only playoff teams they will face in their first 6 contests....

While the OL isnt what Turner had in SD since it is a work in progress Turner is a good enough back to understand this and make the necessary reads at the point of attack and read the defens

There team is horendous

Wow, a compelling argument from a newbie who is going around accepting all my TD's.....

Ok, this should be fun.....

The bottom line is this defense has players in Abraham, Milloy, Keith Brooking, Michael Boley, Coleman and rookie Curtis Lofton who can flat out make plays and improve a defense that was 29th in yards allowed and 29th in points allowed.......

I say 5-11

Detroit is a loss because they're an up and coming team who keeps improving
There is no chance of beating Chicago although they have QB issues. Besides that issue, Chicago is still a team that can win easy games.

Carolina is about a 500 team that beats the easy teams. You even have the Panthers beating them in the beginning of the year.

Matt Ryan is also a young QB that is going to start in his first year. That is very tough. Most QB's sit the first year and learn from a Veteran, He's being rushed into the NFL.

Lions got hammered last year by the Eagles, Vikes and Chargers......Started 6-2 and ended up what???

7-9

Kitna is a journeyman WQB who after his hot start ended up with 18 TD's and 20 INT's......

A sign of a good up and coming team???

GB and Minnesota are......Lions have some talent but they are not the future......

Chicago has great special teams, thats basically it.......Maybe a resurgent D but they are breaking down.......Too many questions and the Falcons have a 1-2 punch that will get to them........Plus the Falcons finally have some talent at WR in Roddy White, Robinson and Michael Jenkins.......

Chris Redman is going to start, the guy that completed 59.7%and had 10 TD's, 5 INT's

The lions are still a team that can "do work" against bad teams
The falcons have a rookie starting QB and noone else on offense versus an intimadating Bears defense.

The Falcons are a broken leg away from 1-15...If Turner or Ryan go down, they are done

June 18, 2008  10:08 AM ET

thank you

June 18, 2008  10:09 AM ET

Its gonna take MORE than that argument to get my vote Bosoxfan33.....

June 18, 2008  10:11 AM ET

i know that
just waiting for him to argue the schedule
and then i will go into attack mode

June 18, 2008  10:21 AM ET

Redman will be starting at QB, Goody

June 18, 2008  10:22 AM ET

sorry G2G SPANISH FINAL
Arguemnet at 3-5 PM

June 18, 2008  11:17 AM ET

1-15 might be a stretch... but i really don't see them beating Carolina or KC.

June 18, 2008  11:25 AM ET

5-11 or 4-12

Dont see them getting worse

June 18, 2008  11:44 AM ET

You pick the easiest TDs, how could ATL get any worse than last year???

June 18, 2008  11:55 AM ET

If they got more than 1 win last year they'll get more than 1 win this year.

June 18, 2008  12:10 PM ET

thast a tough TD to take

June 18, 2008  01:14 PM ET

No team will go 1-15 this year.

June 18, 2008  01:52 PM ET

They are terrible, but that would be asking a lot, It could be close. Lets see who has the better argument.

June 18, 2008  02:28 PM ET

Vote to DJ. That's plain ridiculous.

June 18, 2008  03:56 PM ET

Chris Redman is STARTING

They arent rushing Ryan, he will probably play last half of the season

June 18, 2008  03:58 PM ET

Falcons have Jerious Norwood, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Laurent Robinson, Michael Jenkins against a Bears D that was 28th in yards allowed, 16th in points allowed

June 18, 2008  03:59 PM ET

Falcons were 23rd in yards and 29th in scoring but Turner could carve up the Bears D that was 24th against the run

June 18, 2008  04:13 PM ET

They can win 2 games by accident.

I'm sorry but you wasted away your first argument with only the schedule and a win or lose next to it. You also wasted away your last argument by putting three lines.

Vote to the left.
