(list in first argument and explain in 2nd and 3rd)

I assuming this is in order and Im making two overall changes.

1. Lebron
2. Kobe
3.CP3
4. Amare Stoudamire*
5. Kevin Garnett( assuming this overall games not jus toffense)

I put Lebron over Kobe because this year he scored more, rebounded more, made moe assists, shot at a better fg%, and blocked more shots. Also Lebron led his team of nobodies to a pretty good record while Kobe led a team that had three other good players and many average ones. Also if Lebron gets help aka Arenas or Davis he would not be double/triple teamed every play. Imagine wha he could do like that.

Amare ove Howard- Amare has Nash so it i a lo easier for him to dominate games. Howard on the other hand will be double teamed more and not the best PG to get him the ball. Also Amare has Shaq so he wont be double teamed.

KG over Melo- All Melo does is score points while KG led his team to a championship, averages near a double double, makes a good share of assists, and is the ebst defenseive player in the game.

I did not feel like wasting an argument with just names

amare is very good but i really dont think he is better than dwight howard...i think dwight is the best big man in the league...he is very athletic and can jump out of the gym and he can finish very well around the rim..amare is very good around the rim too but he also looks good because of the passes steve nash gives him...howard does not have a point guard like nash

another difference is u have kg up there and i do not...kg had a pretty good year this year and was close to the mvp award...but his stats were not as good as they were in the past...yes he had pierce and allen but they still were not what they could have been

another thing about dwight howard is that he led the league in rebounding in both the regular season and the playoffs...he will also be starting on the u.s olympic team over amare

and the last difference we have is that u have lebron #1 and i have kobe...kobe makes the defensive team every year and he is the best scorer in the game and what i mean by scorer is that he can drive the lane and he can shoot unlike lebron...lebron's shooting is getting better but it will not be better than kobe's for a long time

howard does not have a point guard like nash - Exactly why Amare is at an advantage. This list is not best players who will do more with less but rather wh will ahve the best year. Since Amare has a great PG which is vital to big men success he will ahve a better year. Also while Hward is constanly double teamed because there isnt other low post presence on his team Amare has Shaq and will go 1 on 1.

he will also be starting on the u.s olympic team over amare- Micheal Redd is on the team over guys like KG, Ray Allen, Kevin Martin, ect. so what does that have to do with anything.

another difference is u have kg up there and i do not- Yeah but you have Melo instead of KG even though KG rebounded 2 ore RPG, had the same APG, led his team to a championship, and is the defnesive player of the year. KG also shot better from the feild and FT. Only advantage elo has is he scores more PPG.

Kobe over Lebron- You say Kobe is the better shooter even though Kobe shot .459 while Lebon shot .484 which is considerbly ebtter. Also how is Kobe better scorer when Lebron average more PPG in the regular season. Lebron is also better because he rebounds more and has more assists.

Is this in order

June 24, 2008  06:09 PM ET

yeah

June 24, 2008  06:27 PM ET

Good picks guys.

I like Howard over Amare.

But I like Garnett over Melo.

So I have this tied on picks.

I'll wait for your further arguments to vote.

i agree with yoda.

June 24, 2008  06:56 PM ET

i vote left.....kobe will be the best, again. I go dwight over amre. melo over kg. Fo Sho.

June 24, 2008  07:06 PM ET

I also agree with Yoda. Howard over Stoudemire and Garnett over Melo.

But the distance between Howard and Amare is shorter than the distance between Garnett and Melo, IMO.

Waiting for arguments, there's a lot of ground to cover.

Also, choosing Kobe or LBJ in spot #1 also has effect.
