where should US soccer fall in the world rankings?

since the rankings are based on points so losing to good teams is not helping the US rank. they currently sit at 30. ok they dont deserve their ranking of 4 in which they held once but 30 is way to high. pick the spot you think they deserve to be ahead of and a few they should be behind.

brazil,italy,spain,germany... top tier
turkey england portugal argentina... smaller gap
US
Mexico Columbia France Greece... teams that US should be ahead of
I cant see US ranked anywhere higher than 15. Why do we insist in having computers generate rankings when they keep making mistakes.
You can argue where you think US should fall.
Where you think I went wrong with rankings.
or If you like the system.

As we all know soccer is a girls sport here in the US. In fact, men simply dont play soccer in the US.. So I am going to go strait to the women:
I feel we deserve our #1 ranking.
