2. Detroit
3. Chicago

1-Cincinnati
2-Denver
3-Detroit

Houston vs Cinci:

Cincinatti has no reason to give up the farm for Stephen Jackson. Kenny Peryy averaged 4.3 YPC last year and had 52 receptions to go along with that. Watson hasnt had many carries in the preseason, but does have a 5.5 YPC average.

Besides, if you trade for Jackson and give him a new deal, how are Chad Johnson and TJ Houshzmanzadah going to feel? They both want new contracts and were turned down in the offseason.

Now, you are going to bring in a RB who had a down year last year and give him a new contract? Yikes. Ocho Cinco would be ticked about Jackson getting his money and would cause some serious problems. TJ would be upset as well.

Trading for Jackson when you have a servicable RB and 2 WRs who want contracts is not a good idea.

DEN vs CHI:

Denver has Selvin Young, an undrafted rookie Free agent who averaged over 5 YPC last year for Mike Shanahan. Why would Denver want to bring in Jackson? Young has done a great job so far and there is no reason to replace him with a back that has more wear and tear and will be much. much more expensive.

Rudi Johnson is done......

Trade Chad Johnson to St Louis for him and they can use TJ, Chris Henry, Jerome Simpson and Andre Caldwell......

Kenny Perry????

Kenny Watson averaged 4.3ypc and is clearly a change of pace RB......Jackson is an upgrade over Watson.......Chad needs a change of scenery......After the off season they had with him......

Denver could trade Selvin Young and a conditional 2nd round pick to St Louis since they lack game breakers at the WR position.......The Broncos could use a dominant RB with their OL in transition......

Chicago has a decent 3 headed rotation with Adrian Peterson, Garrett Wolfe and Matt Forte......Chicago really needs a QB and improved OL play.......

Houston would be a great fit. They badly need a RB, and getting Jackson would help alot. SJ could do great things with Gary Kubiak, who used to work for Shannahan.

How do you know that Rudi Johnson is done? He had a down season last year but whos to say he cant bounce back?

Garret wolfe averaged 2.7 YPC, Peterson averaged 3.4, thats hardly a "3 headed monster". Chicago would beneift greatly from having a back like Jackson who could take pressure off of Kyle Orton and make his job a lot easier.

NO way that Chad Johnson gets his wish and is traded at this point in time. The Bengals spent their offseason rejecting his demands and to trade him now would contradict everything they have done in the offseason.

Denver doesnt make much sense at all. RBs who have held out of training camp have a history of getting hurt and not playing the full season. Selvin Young averaged 5.2 YPC last year. Why do you want to replace him? He is cheaper and had a better year than Jackson did last year.

Houston badly needs a RB and it makes sense for the Rams to trade him out of the NFC....

Houston has Ahman Green AND Chris Brown so the Texans have insurance in case one of them continues their injury prone issues......

Oh and their 3rd string??? Is Steve Slaton, an explosive rookie RB out of West Virginia......

Selvin Young had a better year than Jackson???? Sure his gaudy 5.2ypc looks nice but he had 35 catches for 231 yards for a grand total of 960 yards in 15 games=64 yards total per game......

Jackson 237 carries, 1002 yards, 4.2 avg, 38 catches for 271 yards

IN JUST 12 game's......1273 yards=106.8 yards total per game

?????????

Young had a better avg and thats it, give him more carries behind that OL in transition and his ypc goes down......

Jackson is a veteran RB and can make things happen when the OL breaks down......

If the Bengals are smart they will try and make a deal even if it doesnt include Chad but I say offer him up and the Rams jump at it so they can replace Bruce......It makes sense on both part's......

Teams say 1 thing and then do something else all the time.......

Nobody thought Favre would play for another team in his career.......

August 20, 2008  12:41 PM ET

Here's the deal....A three way trade between Houston, Buffalo and STL.

Buffalo gets Chad
