Sports Illustrated's 10 must-visit sports locales & my changes. NO ORDER on changes, just replacements. List 1st, argue 2nd and 3rd for space reasons

Cassidy's House: Priceless (135-87-9) vs Bucmaster: 7-3! (38-63-11)

SI's list:

Madison Square Garden

Daytona International Speedway

Florida Field/The Swamp

Churchill Downs

Allen Fieldhouse, Kansas NCAAB

Lambeau Field

Wrigley Field

Beijing's National Stadium/Bird's Nest

The Royal and Ancient Golf Course of Saint Andrews

Fenway Park

My changes:

Well considering they only chose one NFL venue, I gotta replace Churchill Downs with Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

The Bird's Nest in Beijing is not a top 10 place you must visit considering I would rather be in the Big House to watch a college game in Michigan.

Finally, as an American I can live without ever seeing an English golf course at Saint Andrews in favor of watching a Masters in Augusta, Georgia.

Changes: Big House, and...St. Andrews.

You say that St. Andrews is not top ten. You say you would rather see a Masters at Augusta. That isn't bad, a sports fan would love that. The ones that they list are the most...popular or..legendary.

Do you know how old that golf course is? Do you know of all the stuff tht has happened their? Sure, it's golf, but the course is still awesome.

A tournament at St. Andrews would definitely beat a Madters at Augusta.

And of course, the Big House. Any sports fan would die to go there. I replaced Allen Fieldhouse with the Big House.

Good luck...

So u would rather b drinking tea @ an ancient facility w/ a bunch of Euros than tee off in the good old US of A @ one of the most beautiful courses in this country? There is nothing beautiful about St. Andrews. Its just old & flat & the trees r nothing special & certainly not beautiful. Did u watch this year's British Open? The wind on that course is brutal & players were 8itching left & right about the terrible weather they get there every year. Ever hear about anyone complaining about the weather @ Augusta in April every year?

So you are going to leave the freakin Bird's Nest as one of your top 10 must-see sports locations? Why? By the time you get there you will bear witness to a bunch of local China events because the Olympics will be long over, and even if you can get there before the Olympics ends, you wont see much beyond what is left of the track and field events as the dynamic ones like the mens 100 and 200 are over.

How can you take out the best place to watch college basketball in the country? Allen Fieldhouse is ranked as the best place to watch college basketball in America by the college basketball experts:

"Ever hear about anyone complaining about the weather @ Augusta in April every year?"

The only reason Augusta is so hyped up is just because of the Masters. Without that, it would be just be another golf course.

" Did u watch this year's British Open?"

Nobody said golf was easy...except Tiger Woods, maybe...if they are going to whine about it...: don't golf.

St. Andrews has history. It's hard, and it is fun to watch people golf there. To win at that course is hard...Paddy didn't finish over even par, did he?

" So you are going to leave the freakin Bird's Nest as one of your top 10 must-see sports locations?"

Anywhere that is the site of the Olympics, is a must-see for anybody. Plus, the Bird's Nest is beautiful, the colors and everything...it's the Olympics.

"The only reason Augusta is so hyped up is just because of the Masters. Without that, it would be just be another golf course."

Here is a more objective and expert source, unlike you:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Augusta_National_Golf_Club

"Nobody said golf was easy...except Tiger Woods, maybe...if they are going to whine about it...: don't golf. "

These are professional golfers who are complaing about the conditions in England, not some duffer like your father who shanks his drive into the shire, then asks the head greenskeeper to redo the entire course at his request.

"St. Andrews has history. It's hard, and it is fun to watch people golf there. To win at that course is hard...Paddy didn't finish over even par, did he?"

A '64 VW Beetle has history too.

"Anywhere that is the site of the Olympics, is a must-see for anybody. Plus, the Bird's Nest is beautiful, the colors and everything...it's the Olympics."

Is this an argument or the admiration of a little boy who finds twinkling lights "beautiful and everything"?

Nobody that has voted for you has voted for you for the Bird's Nest. That was a huge mistake.

Opening argument on the left was incredibly insufficient.

"Opening argument on the left was incredibly insufficient."

Lol. That and (s)he's too busy commenting in your TD to make an argument in her own.

August 21, 2008  12:52 AM ET

no need to wait, I'll cast my vote now thank you..

August 21, 2008  01:55 AM ET

I'll throw a vote left for now. It's 0-5 with only one argument each and that's lame. It's an interesting topic that should be voted on when complete.

Seriously, FN votes against Cassidy just as much as she fanmails for votes. Isn't it pretty even in that respect?

Disclaimer: 1) I am not in Women R Us nor on Cassidy's friends list and did not receive an FM to come here and vote; 2) I have never done a TD so w.t.f do I know; 3) I just enjoy reading discussions that don't involve a ton of bickering (see ESPN, FOX, CBS, etc)

August 21, 2008  02:23 AM ET

LIHI, Im waiting to vote. Voting to make things closer is almost as bad as hate voting which is almost as bad as block voting.

Not trying to call you out, just sayin there are more than enough voters on here that will vote sensibly.

August 21, 2008  02:24 AM ET

MTS Centre, for no other reason than it's in Winnipeg.

August 21, 2008  02:27 AM ET

Arrowhead Stadium? Little bit of a reach. How about Wrigley, Yankee Stadium, Cameron Indoor, Pauley Pavilion, Husky Stadium? I have been to Arrowhead, fans are great, stadium is a dump. I wouldn't dismiss St. Andrews either. A Links course in the place golf history began. At least women can play there....

August 21, 2008  02:28 AM ET

I'll wait for arguments to vote though..

August 21, 2008  02:30 AM ET

It's cool EFB. I just hate seeing votes tilted to one side with only one argument. Again, it means nothing personally to me because I don't TD. But voting early to even it out sometimes helps the community to read arguments, which isn't always done. I can always change my vote in the end.

August 21, 2008  02:31 AM ET

And BTW, most times I wait to vote only to find that an opponent forfeited due to lack of votes which is lame also.

August 21, 2008  02:33 AM ET

Birds Nest can't be top 10. I will be at Lambeau the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Used to go 6 times a year but living in Denver has cut that down.

August 21, 2008  04:36 AM ET

I'm NOT a hater.

I just can't stand Cass's know-it-all attitude.

Cass- if you weren't so rude, you might actually win people over............

In life, it is not what happens to you, but HOW you react to it that matters.
Your reaction is always, HATER, HATER, HATER, HATER!!

Try winning someone over with knowledge and good arguments instead of just calling everyone stupid and a hater.

I bet you can't go an entire week without calling someone a name......

BTW, VOTE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>

In case nobody's noticed, Roy has been very polite in his past two TDs. If he is indeed changing his attitude, let's give him a chance instead of just insulting him every chance we get.
