Pick 1rst, argue secod and third

I will say the Jaguars and the Browns


Jets and Jags


Jets vs Browns

The Browns are a much better overall team than the Jets.

They have a better defense than the Jets and mostly better or even to the Jets offensive players.

The Browns and Jets both are even in RB and WR. The Browns have a better TE, but the Jets do have a better QB.
The OL, I would give the advantage to the Browns

On defense, the LB core is better for the Browns, while the Jets have a better DL. The secondary is about even.

For special team, definately the edge goes to the Browns, good kicker, decent punter and a great PR and KR in Joshua Cribbs.

The Jets have a good kicker, a ok punter, and a decent returner.

The Browns have a little better schedule. They don't have to play NE at all, while the Jets play them twice.

There is no way the Jets will be the wild card team over the Browns


I chose the Jets for a few reasons, one being there schedule

New England
at San Diego
Arizona
Cincinnati
at Oakland
Kansas City
at Buffalo
St. Louis
at New England
at Tennessee
Denver
at San Francisco
Buffalo
at Seattle
Miami

2x Miami, Arizona, Cincy, Oakland, KC, St. Louis, San Fran are all locks for the Jets. Right there thats eight wins

All the Jets have to do is win two of these games to get in the playoffs, beating San Diego, 2x New England, 2x Buffalo, Tennessee, Denver, and Seattle to make the playoffs which shouldnt be a problem

On the other hand heres the Browns schedule

Pittsburgh
at Baltimore
at Cincinnati
NY Giants
at Washington
at Jacksonville
Baltimore
Denver
at Buffalo
Houston
Indianapolis
at Tennessee
at Philadelphia
Cincinnati
at Pittsburgh

By playing Dallas, 2x Steelers, Giants, Washington, Jags, Indy, Philly, Tennessee, and Denver they have way more tough teams to play against then the Jets making it tougher to make the playoffs

The Jets D is better then the Browns

Browns Defense

30th in yards given up
27th in rush yards
24th in pass yards
21th in points

Jets Defense

18th in yards
29th in rush yards
9th in pass yards
19th in points


The Jets will loose to the Seahawks, Titans, Broncos, NE , and SD. They will split with Buffalo. So, that would only give them 9 wins.

The Browns will beat the Redskins, Philly, Tenessee, and Denver and they will also have 9 wins.

I think the Jets might loose another game by blowing a game to a worse team then them and give them only 8 wins.

Well, their defense is still ok, but they have a good offense to make up for their defense.

The schedule might be tough for the Browns but I think they still can get out of it with 9 wins and go ahead of the Jets and take the final wild card spot.

The Jets might only win one of the games they have to win and like I said could blow a game to some bad team.

This is why I think the Browns will make it and the Jets will NOT.

The weakest part of the Jets offense last year was there passing game which was 25th in the league. What did they do to help it, only add one of the best qbs in the game. If they had Favre last year they would have had the second best passing game in the NFL right behind the Pats averaging over 270 yards a game

The jets also reinforced there defense during the offseason. Another weak part of there team last year was there linebackers, Thomas didnt play well and they couldnt find a good right inside linebacker. However they signed Calvin Pace who has looked great this preseason and had almost 100 tackles and 7 sacks last year playing in the same 3-4 defense that the jets have

Our corners last year played great. Revis and Rhodes are the building blocks for the future and helped us have the ninth best pass d in the NFL. Since no key players left us we will only improve on last and have a top 15 defense

The Browns are bound to lose a few games against the Ravens, Denver, Tennessee, and Houston so its not a lock that there winning nine games. While the Jets play worse opponents which gives them the edge in making the playoffs
